I just completed this quest's objectives. We started the battle having control over the fortress, but lost it. Zanneth is at the alliance camp (FP), but I can't turn in this quest by talking to him. Do we have to control the fortress, and turn it in there, to complete this quest?

It looks like you if have this quest, you cannot also have Defend the Siege at the same time.

So make sure you have the proper one depending on if your side is attacking or defending. You need to drop this one if your side is on offense to get Defend the Siege.

Slightly incorrect though, because Stop the Siege works just as fine when you are attacking - you only have to destroy their vehicles

I've researched a little about the "weekly quests" and it appears to count the week from the day you take the quest. In other words, If you havn't got them done before a week, you'll be able to take them already next day (Perfect if you're playing on other characters and just cba to do the quests immediatly. Take them and do them after 6-7 Days) ;D

I don't see anyone else posting this. . Is it possible to do this quest in a raid group, or do you have to be solo/partied?

This and the defending the siege quest can both be completed while in a raid. I've got credit for both of them while killing enemy players and not touching a vehicle.

All the above is semi interesting but what i want to know is what the siege machines look like and how are they to be destroyed. The rest of the postings were totally useless.

Note that unlike the other WG weekly quests, this can only be done during the battle. The other quests can be accepted, completed, and turned in without any actual PvP going on.

Its easy if you duel to another player in raid (dont know if it count if the other one isnt in your raid) inside this vechiles and win or loose count.

Here's what puzzles me about this quest: it's offered between battles, just like the "No Mercy for the Merciless" quest and the various gathering quests. But it seems there's no way to complete it outside the battle? I can pick up the rockets I find laying around, but I can't find anything to use them on when the battle isn't actually going.
