Bugged as of Oct 1th, build 13117.

The Watcher will stand stuck in aggro animation, untargettable, and `casting´ lots of Moonfire-like spells around it.

The quest appeared to bug for me today when I moved the crystals too far away from the watcher. The crystals respawned and I killed them, but after they were dead the watcher just stood in the "aggro" animation for a very long time. Eventually, it faded out and reset. I was able to complete the event normally after that as long as I didn't move the crystals too far away from the watcher.

Kill first 3, moonfires will be there, nothing will be happening. Wait like 5 mins they will respawn. Kill them close to titan. He's dead. Solved.

As of Tuesdays server restart, quest is working properly again.
Above poster is correct. Kill the three orbs and the titan falls over.
I did not kill them near the titan, just grouped all three up and killed them.

If after finishing this quest you cancel the cinematic, you will not be teleported to Harrison's new location. Instead you will be in the same place, in fact, for a few seconds, I saw a duplicate of myself next to Harrison, and then they disappeared :O

Anyways, just fly out of the Obelisk of Moon and head southeast, where the two rivers on each side of the Obelisk combine into one, Harrison will be right there with Sullah, and Sullah will offer you a new quest to continue the chain.

Quest bugged for me as well. I abandoned it and retook it. Killing the crystals at the titan's feet caused it to work! :)

A reminder, you have to drag all 3 crystals to the NPC's feet, or they don't count (causing encounter to freeze up for 10min..).

After 5 or 6 tries, we finally got it. You have to kill the orbs at the TITAN'S feet, not Harrison's.

Indeed confirmed that the quest won't bug if you kill them at his feet. Also, abandon and relogging reset the dude for me!

Bugged though you can do it, you'll need to abonden and restart wow.
Ehm not sure if it mattered, but the second time i tried I tood inside the AOE thingy from the crystal when they died, looks like it worked..
I killed the orbs on My own feets, at a equal range towards harrison and the guardian. Aswell as the teleport after quest worked.

I don't know if it bugged or meant to work this way, but I just did this on my hunter, and my pet wouldn't fight. I kept checking to make sure I didn't have it on passive, and hitting attack, but nothing. :) If there hadn't been a horde doing it at the same time, I wouldn't have gotten it done, but even though we were different factions, both got credit for the kill.

just did it Azuremyst 9:30 am Eastern. Read about standing on crystals, so at start moused over crystal, was hostile, 3 crystals, burned them down, quest complete, Never had to go near guardian.

As hunter, I too was bugged, followed all the suggestions but kept failing. Since I had on Beast Mastery, decided to switch to marksmanship if the pet was going to fight, AND then he did. Piece of cake after that. Just make sure to actually target one at a time.

lol, buggy quest. I think you are in a different phase depending on whether or not you have started the quest. Someone else just completed it as I started the quest and Harrison already had a question mark over their head. Since I was already standing next to Harrison, I handed mine in and it started the cut-scene.

As a hunter I tried it several times with my pet up in passive and active modes but could not get a complete until I abandoned the quest then reaquired it , dismissed my pet and then I was able to compleded the quest alone.

Confirmed: Killing the crystals at his feet kills him.

Every time I killed them away from his body he would bug out.

ok i did this quest on dec 22, 2010 it was not bugged u cant target the giant cause hes not who u r killing once u get the round floating add ons down the giant dies automatically....

12-24-10 Not bugged, 84 rogue.

Hit a purple spark as you run toward the giant.
Back-peddle as you whack it ;)
Get under the giant's dress and continue whacking the prurple spark.

I killed 2 purple sparks and he fell, first try.

As of 12/24 quest is still bugged. Work around to 'abandon' the quest, pick it up again and kill the Lunar Crystals while standing next to the Guardian worked!

It's bugged if you pull the crystals away from where they originally spawn at. I did that twice. Each time I ended up dropping the quest, waiting for the guardian and moonfires to despawn, then picked the quest back up and they all respawned after about 20 seconds.

To get it not to bug out, I just attacked the first crystal (which aggros all three to you), ran right up to the guardian's feet, and killed all three crystals right there. The quest completed and the Titanic Guardian fell over.

Also had trouble getting my (hunter) pet to fight them. To make it worse, whenever I feigned death the quest bugged and the guardian and crystals disappeared. I had to abandon and reset. So best I could do was kite them in tight circles around the guy's feet and keep telling my pet to attack. Annoying, but not difficult once I got the hang of it.

Stand behind the big guy, and take out the 3 crystals, and he will go down,
Freeze one, My pet took out one, and I arcane shot nr 3, used a lot of focus, but regained enough to take out the last one,,,:-)

Just completed, after second try. Attack orb closest to mobs feet. Gather them all right in front of him, dodging his "moonfires." Win.

Just completed this quest as a hunter. Stood between the feet of the statue before beginning my attack and my pet attacked just fine. On two previous attempts, I had the problems posted above.

The new year didn't change anything. I got it the first time, bugged, abandoned and reaquired it for a second time and still it's bugged. Then i read the suggestions above and finally for a third time I finished it.

I had problems with this quest too, but I just stood underneath the titan and sent my pet in to attack, trapped one in a ice trap and pulled them closer to the titan. finished the quest easy after 3 bugged attempts. Lvl 84 BM hunter with wolf pet

Very nice and easy. kill the orbs, but do it immediately. Statue falls, and quest is done,and it goes into a cut scene.

Completed on 1/08/2011. I first tried to kill the crystals from a distance but the quest was bugged (as stated above). I took the advice posted here of killing the crystals close to the guardian and that worked just fine. Happy questing!

Kill the orbs - and you're done..theorytically.

If the titan isn't *killed* after finishing the 3 orbs then abandon & re-take the quest or wait for the orbs to re-spawn. (the second choice is what worked for me)

confirmed still bugged 1/11/11. also confirmed if you pull crystals toward harrison will cause the glitch and on the same token pulling crystals to the titan it will work perfectly. if it does glitch, the fastest way to reset it is to go just outside the door of the chamber, log out, close out ccompletely, relaunch and voila. good luck!

I tried this quest and it bugged for me too, however I abandoned it ... re-took the quest and killed the purple crystals standing closer to the guardian and this time it worked fine, if you are too far away from the guardian the quest will bug. :)

Easy enough, stand and fight between the titan's feet and you'll be fine.

Confirmed this is still buggy for hunters with tenacity and ferocity pets.

All five of the pets I had with me were Spirit Beasts (guess I won't do that again) so I had no pet to use. As a BM hunter, this was painful. I froze one orb in place with Trap Launcher > Freezing Trap. Then kited the others all around the feet of the Titan, by running backwards and Disengaging. I only had about 10% health left (at level 85, no less) so if you're less than 85, this could be tricky. I recommend pulling out a cunning pet if you have one, or bring a friend to help you burn down the orbs.

Just completed this on my level 84 hunter and damn, it's still buggy as hell.
DC'd twice. Abandoned the quest five times, trying to get the guardian to respawn, before realising it's on a timer.
I had a level 81 Core Hound who I was training up and he was useless. Growl did not work and he didn't attack any of the orbs at all. I ended up frost trapping and kiting all three with aspect of the fox and spamming cobra shot, arcane shot and serpent sting, popping deterrence at around 50%HP.

Reasonably easy for a half decent hunter, but why o' why does this bug still exist? Was reported in beta and yet it's still there, what? 3 or 4 patches later?

Just did this quest and followed Vexikuri, just aggroe run between the titans legs and kill crystals as they come to u. don't move from between his legs. Easy.

Worked for me just now on my pally! I simply aggro'd the 3 crystals and then stood under the titan to fight them - piece of cake!
