General Thorg'izog is easy to find. He's located in the cave on the bottom level of the mountain (level with the rest of the zone). Enter the cave and keep to the left -- you'll end up at the General.

Guide to Burning Steppes quests:

Optional breadcrumbs:

Do anytime before leaving to Chiselgrip:
Done Nothing Wrong

Keeshan is back with either:
Burning Vengeance if you did the Redridge chain or Burning Vengeance if you did not.

These three at once:

Then:
The Sand, the Cider, and the Orb

These two at once: Warlocks Have the Neatest Stuff and Shadow Boxing

Then:
Return to Keeshan
Chiselgrip, the Heart of the Steppes

Enables these quests, which must be completed before General Thor'izog in the main chain:
Prove Yer Allegiance
Scrapped Golems (leads to Golem Training)

Main chain continues:
A Needle in a Hellhole
A Perfect Costume (4 versions) Read the quest carefully. What creature disguise do you need?
---> Orc (given to Humans and Dwarves): 2 Hides, 4 muds, 2 thread
---> Goblin (given to Gnomes): 1 hide, 3 mud, 4 thread
---> Troll (given to Night Elves): 3 Hides, 2 mud, 1 thread

i have been looking for the cave for about an hour now and i cannot find it. i found the other two caves for the other quest hand ins, but i cant find any caves at ground level on the west side! so frustrating!

i feel a bit stupid now, i just found it. although i would classify the cave entrance more south easterly...yeah, im a bit of a noob

I somehow had a problem with my disguise where the blackrock characters all registered as hostile (red), but they didn't attack me and I couldn't attack them. If this happens to you, take off the disguise my right clicking on it in the top right-hand corner of the screen and go to Colonel Troteman at Morgan's Vigil to get a new one. Then put that one on, and they should register as friends again.

I had similar issues with this quest - both finding the cave and delivery of the package.. The map icon made it appear he was outside, when in fact, he was inside the cave. When I found him, there was no golden question-mark, and my cursor was morphed into a sword. So, upon a suggestion in another post, I dove to the bottom of the pool in front of the NPC, took off my disguise, put it back on, and emerged. NPC now was ready to receive the package.

Inside this package, you will find the worg cutlets you obtained, marinated in the fel slider cider that we took from the Altar of Storms.

I would avoid eating it if I were you.

Bring it to General Thorg'izog. He will make sure that his troops are fed and, with any luck, he will eat some himself.]
