Galera, muita gente morre nessa quest porque não entende como tudo funciona.
Como fazer:
mate os tentáculos menores primeiro, a cada tentáculo que você mata, você liberta um xamã e ele vai passar a te ajudar... depois vá progredindo matando o outro tentáculo com um pouco a mais de vida, até por fim o último!

You will have a debuff inside which will stack and kill you. A 'debuff' bar will show you how high the stack is and if it becomes too high, there will be a green flare at the edges of the screen. You can get the debuff 'healed' if you stand a while in the protective bubbles. Every time you get a tenticle down, the shaman that was trapped will help you fight the rest of them. The last one spawns when the three little ones are down.

Did this last night and there is a method of sorts that makes it much much easier.

You are to kill the massive spawned tentacles while inside, however, kill the lower health ones first. Each tentacle you kill will save one of the shaman and each one of the shaman will fight with you until completion (and provides different abilities).

So try to kill lowest to highest health tentacles while making sure now and then to head into a nearby bubble for healing and removal of debuffs.

Has anyone actually completed this quest? i can't right now and am lost. I attack the target and it just evades and the shams don't attack, my pet don't attack.. nothing in my inventory. I'm lost.

The guys you have to save are in the tentacles. Start with the smallest and kill the elite tentacle in the end, you need help from the saved npcs.

Dont forget to reset your debuff bar, just walk into the protective bubbles and it will reset. When you have to kill the elite tentacle, dont fly or ride with your mount to it! You have to walk, otherwise npcs wont help you with heals.

Completed today. Kill a small tentacle, free a guy who will help you on the next tentacle (they will heal/dps/etc). Seek protection inside a bubble. Rinse, repeat until all tentacles are dead. then it's on to the brain. Kill the brain, get an achievement.

The debuff inside the cavern gives you a debuff wich will make you loose health, but get increased damage from. To gain health, get inside one of the bubbles that are placed around inside the "cave".

To find all the NPC`s: Kill the tentacles that you see. The NPC`s will then appear after its been killed, and then follow you around to help you defeat the other tentacles and find the rest.

Noteworthy: The NPC`s will stay with you once you pick up the next quest Nightmare , so when youre done just walk back, deliver the quest, turn around and go get that quest at the same time. :)

After that you get a ride back up to the camp to deliver the quest and get your achievement - Consumed by Nightmare

I highly suggest disabling SCT if you have it installed prior to starting this quest. I have the most recent updated version and this quest bugged it out REALLY bad. Non-stop spam of LUA error messages.

You should not take a buff on you like Mana Shield or Lightning Shield etc.
Coz helper mobs are gonna shield you and to run event properly..

Here are the quotes I caught, first one being the one they say upon released. Should be a full list but feel free to add ones I missed, I stood there for quite a while but some of them took ages. Also included the one(s) heard during the next quest, Nightmare.

As a hunter, I had a problem while shooting Dimblaze's lower health elite tentacle, eventually realizing that I needed to be closer to Dimblaze and the tentacle when he was freed. I had killed it twice shooting from the "permanent" bubble, but didn't even think to move to the temporary bubble that one of the other NPC's had created. Once I did that, I was able to get credit for freeing Dimblaze.

If for some reason it's bugged on you, just abandon it and start over.

If you mount up, then you won't suffer damage from the DoT effect. Also, those shaman following you are going to attack horde, so expect annoying pvp fights even if neither side wants them.

as warlock (affliction).. this quest was a breeze coz of the infinite mana and even the quest to kill the brain was the same.

All i did was, stand at the edge of the closest clensing bubble to my target mob and curse, bane and whatever spell i desire, then life tap when low on mana coz i get constant healing ..no need to move around while fighting.

Just ran into an "issue" where all 3 shaman didn't despawn or leave at the quest completion, and I now seem to own three very beastly pets... at least until I log off. They've been following me for 45mins now.

With all of the phasing in Cataclysm, i found this quest to be very disappointing. Even after you kill the monster, he doesn't die-you still have to see his stupid arms flailing around every time you're in Twilight Highlands.

Some people may want to disable the "Display Lua Errors" while doing this quest, because apparently it causes some bugs on certain addons and spams you with Lua Erros the entire time... It's pretty annoying and bothered me a lot while fighting the tentacles.

A lot of people likely have the 'evade' problem when fighting the brain.

DONT: Run in without the shamans and attack the brain, run out, heal up, and run back in again. The brain will evade.

DO: Wait in a bubble before attacking the first time, wait for shamans to spawn, THEN run in. You wont ever need to run back out.

Casters: don't be a smart-ass and try to stand in that little spot just outside the healing bubble while still being in its aura for the 258k tentacle.

I rescued Dimblaze about 4 times and got pretty frustrated before realising my deviousness was bugging the quest out. Stand well outside the bubble.

When I started this quest, all the tentacles stayed "green" and I couldn't target them. I fixed the problem by abandoning the quest and restarting it--it worked fine the second time.

An easy way to avoid the digestion damage is to mount up. Both ground and flying mounts work to halt your damage, making the trip back to a 'safe zone' less stressful.

Unfortunately i died and couldn't get back to my body. there is no way to get thru the maw after the cinematic. so i rezzed at the healer and tried abondoning the quest, now i have to pick it up again in the maw. But there is no way back inside :(

I was on this quest and I died, and thought maybe if i abandoned it I could pick it right back up. Rezzed at my body but I think i must have phased out because I can't see the friendlies in the middle circle. Does anyone know what to do?

So , for this quest you will have to do this :

1)Make sure you do see the yellow bubles around the place
2)At your screen you will notice that you have a bar , named : Digestive Acids
3)At the place you will see some Mobs named Tentacle of Iso'rath , you will need to kill those , so you can free the "Shamans" :

Hargoth Dimblaze
Stormcaller Jalara
Eathmender Duarn and
Stormcaller Mylar

Note : every time you kill a Tentacle , a shaman will be "rescued"
and assist you

Now ...
You will notice two elite Tentacles , yes you will need to kill those two , but do not imagine any insanely hard elite , the shamans that you rescued before are with you and they will assist you kill the elites , piece of cake !

Becarefull with your bar , if you reach 300 while you are on the elites check behind you , one of the shamans did make a buble and can heal you up !

Being an elemental shaman, it's really annoying having to replace their Earth Shield over and over with my Lightning Shield. Just be aware of that if you're shaman.

The tips above were great. I stood in the bubble and checked the health bars on the tentacles and hit them, from the lowest to the highest. Using a warlock (caster), I could actually set the minion on attack and stand just inside the bubble and cast my longest range spells. A couple of dots required I run out of the bubble and, after throwing those, I ran back in. By the end tentacle, the big Tauren fellow stood next to me bubbling and healing the whole while. I admit I had to run through a few minions, but I was pleased at how the whole thing went.

I couldn't figure this out for the longest time, no idea to do it or mobs to attack.

I found out it had glitched and my tentacles were friendly! (one should be worried about friendly tentacles) I just dropped the quest and re-accepted, everything was better! No more friendly tentacles

I dunno, I find this quest to be particularly unclear and confusing. It's quite doable once you figure out what's going on, but Blizz could have been a LOT more clear in the instructions.

I just had a bug where the third shaman couldn't be rescued - I killed the tentacle several times over, but there was no rescued message, the shaman wasn't checked off on my quest tracker, and the tentacle just respawned immediately. Abandoning and retaking the quest didn't help (same thing happened when I got round to the 3rd tentacle again), but relogging fixed it.

If you happen to die after you save one or more of the shamans. Just go back to where you died, respawn, run to a bubble, and wait a few minutes. They will show up and you can continue the quest.

If you happen to disconnect or fail the quest, you get it back if you die inside Iso'rath.

I thought it to be a very helpful addition when the first Shaman I saved started popping up his own "anti-digestion" bubble. Until he kept using it miles away from me! Feral Druid mate, means I'm gonna be right up close and personal with the gribblies!

I've attempted this quest 7 times now on my lock. I've abandoned it, logged out, every combination I can think of, but it doesn't give me credit for saving Stormcaller Mylra. Very frustrating. Also of note, it glitched out twice when I was on the npc gryphon flying around for the first part. Dropped me above ground instead of in the maw and killed me both times. I finally wised up and flew in myself ;)

This quest chain bugged on me twice. First it dropped me wrong and instead of landing in his mouth I landed next to it and died. The second was that the tentacles kept showing up as friendly targets and I wasn't able to kill them. If this happens drop the quest and pick it back up, that's what I had to do.

I pray that whoever designed this quest suffers and agonizing slow death. It is bugged as hell. The people I rescued do not help me, the bubble shields do nothing to protect me. The guy who wanked his wrinkly little cock when he came up with this is lower then Hilter, Stalin and every pedophile in the world combined. I hope he suffers horribly.

Mine is glitched as well. I can't rescue the 3rd shaman, which happens to be the first elite tentacle.

But just as I was typing this, standing in a healers bubble, I noticed my WOW screen change and all of a sudden the quest was completed and I definitely did not rescue #3 and #4...oh well, lucky me :)

It worked fine for me, just dont do what i did and attempt to kill the Elite tenticle first, not a smart move on my part, kill them in order (non-elites first). :) On a side note, this is my first post ever!

I to was a bit confused about what to do in this quest. All you have to do is rescue the shamans who are "trapped" inside the tentacles. But the longer you stay out of the Shaman shields you will be digested by acid. That's what that bar at the bottom is. It is not a kill count bar. You will have five tentacles to kill, each have more hp than the other. The biggest one has 515k hp. Save that one for last once you rescue the other shamans. I find that Jalara has an annoying knockback. Take cover inside each of the shaman shields as you need to. Just move around as you kill the tentacles, they all have pretty much the same attacks. After you kill the biggest one you've rescued them all!

...I think that WoW and then an head and Blizzard are in on this together.

I started murdering the tentacles closest to me, a regular ol' 84, and then an 84 elite, and absolutely nothing happened. Then, come here, check out the guide in case I'm somehow murdering them wrong? Go back, murder them again.

Boom. I rescued two Shamans the second time?

I better not have to kill these damn things twice each. I will not be pleased.

BM Hunter, 85 ilvl366. Let my pet attack, come out of the bubble to shot a few then back in the bubble. Pretty cake actually, even with the elites and with those thrice damned little blobs running amok.

It doesn't matter... our plan is falling apart. Some of our shaman are channeling protective auras that should combat the digestive juices and keep you alive, but we need you to rescue the other shaman from the tentacles. We won't be able to defeat Iso'rath without them!

Don't stay out in the stomach without the other shaman for too long or you'll be digested alive!]
