this is the third quest i have encountered with this styile, of giving yourself a mission to exterminate a certine race, the other 2 are

Once More, With Eeling

and

Dirty Birds

Has anyone else encountered more of these quests?

Hyenas are not dogs. They are actually closer to felines than canines. Any canine-like characteristics are simply coincidences in evolution.

Sorry, it always makes me go on a biological rant whenever I see people put down hyenas. They are actually some of the smartest animals after primates and are the true kings and queens of Africa. Not to mention, they are not scavengers as many other hyena mobs are named. This is a mistake on Blizzard's (and modern media's) part that I can only hope will eventually be fixed. They are wonderful animals when you give them a chance.

Clicked on the ? icon when it appeared below my minimap to turn in and it never completed, I never got the reward or completion, and now I'm stuck with the quest. Abandoned and rekilled the hyenas to try and get it to pop again and it didn't. Suggestions?

Edit: Tried again, if you're using carbonite sometimes it seems it won't let you complete, have to disable the questing module to and complete it through the blizzard quest log

TO GET QUEST: Just kill a hyena or two in that area seen in the map here and you'll get the quest. The quest is auto completed after you're done (if not, disable some addons, that might be why you cant complete it).
