Unless it gets changed, try aiming for the packs of jaspertip swarmers. They count towards you total, travel 5-6 in a pack. And have 8k hp each. Making them very fast to kill for the quest.

You can also lure them towards the Sons of Kor wandering around the area. They kill them in a jiffy.
