The Twilight Communique was easy to get but the Hyjal Battleplans has a really long spawn time, around 7 minutes. That means a lot of players are camping the battleplans all the time. I had to log in early in the morning to get them when no other players were online.

Seems like the respawn timer has been lowered.

I started the ingame stopwatch a few seconds after another player picked up the plans and they respawned for me approx. 4 min. 30 sec. later

The Hyjal Battleplans are located in Doom's Vigil, SW corner.
The Twilight Communique is located in the Forge of Supplication, near Mahaega Grimforge.

The respawn timer seems to be much better in cataclysm. I got it and it respawned a few seconds later.

It might not seem like much to get our hands on a map or a letter, but it may mean saving a hundred lives on our side...

And seeing that he is in the outhouse a paper or two could save his... behind too!

There are two camps. If its not in The Forge of Supplication go out and to the East and it will be in Doom's Vigil.

There seems to be no respawn timer at all now. Just grabbed both of them, and they just kept laying there.

Fun Fact: If one of the guards catches you and you run into the neaby group of Twilight Neophytes, they will start attacking the guard. They deal no damage but can take threat away from you if you do not damage the guard.

When i did this quest, the Twilight Guard saw me, said 'stop thief!', and immediately started slaughtering all the Twilight Neophytes in camp, so hey, even if you're caught, maybe you'll get lucky and it'll bug out.

Had an issue with this quest today. 3 people were unable to loot one of the items. An empty loot box would come up, but nothing else. There was a guy sitting in the loot position for about 10 minutes, guards never saw him.

Eventually what fixed it was him trying to loot from in front of the boxes so the guard could catch him looting (didn't work when I tried, so I guess the issue was with him).

Immediately after the elite guard aggroed to him, I could loot the item successfully.
