The Air Valve drops from one of the Green Sand Crabs, they're all around the quest-giver. The bubbles needed to use the Air Baloon are all around you, glittering like a quest-objective does :)

The Valve doesn't have a 100% drop-rate, took me about 15 kills to get mine.

The balloon appears to disappear if you mount up on your seahorse, and for me the only way to get it back was to drop and re-pick up the quest. I wasn't able to receive the balloon if I accepted the quest while mounted as well.

To avoid this hassle, just pick up the quest while unmounted and collect 10 levels of inflation without mounting.

As for the air, the bright teal seashells and the clumps of green... tube... things...(cacti with holes at the top?) can both be used to collect air, if no one else has used them recently. There's a short cooldown before they start providing air again (look for the sparkles and small air bubbles).

First part of the quest is relatively easy. Second part not as much, took me roughly 15-20 kills to get it. I was just going to check this site about drop rate when i looked back to my screen to notice the last one i killed had it on him. Figures.

For those that be as mentally challenged as I seemd to be. You pick up a 'balloon' which goes into ur bags and you need to click on it to collect the air. I just sat on a vent with my balloon out not knowing why the air wasn't automatically going in......duh!

Got air valve on the third crab. Couldn't fill air bag. Stood on sparkly, click wasn't possible at ten full minutes. Bag never filled Finished ten crabs and the bag disappeared. Had to abandon and give up the valve. Still can't fill bag and now no valve either.

While you are doing this quest, make sure to also have the quest "Crabby Patrons", given from Felice. You have to kill the Crabs for the Air Valve, so you might as well complete another quest in the process.

You fill the balloon and then go to another plant where air is bubbling and repeat. You need ten fills to complete this part of the quest. The other is killing crabs to get a valve. Look for a red bar on the top center of your screen. It keeps track of the number of fills you have done. If you don't do these in a reasonable time your balloon will go away and you have to start over. At times it appears to have gone (when mounted), but it will come back when you dismount.

I found the valve lying on the ground to the N of the questgiver. Directly underneath a giant greenish coral on the edge of the gorge. About 50yds N.

Done this a few times now. The crabs drop the valve but it also spawns on the ground in different places. If you mount your seahorse the balloon goes away but you can still hand in the quest because that part is complete as soon as you fill it. You don't need to actually hand it over to him.

Keep clicking Sambino's Air Balloon near the air pockets to get 2 or 3 Air bubbles instead of 1

If you are mounted on your seahorse when you pick up the quest the balloon won't spawn. There should be a balloon roped to you that you drag around to fill. Make sure you de-mount THEN pick up the quest. Drove me batty for a while.

Do you keep clicking on the air bubble plants, waiting for a "filled" message so you can move on? Getting frustrated because nothing's happening? You have to click on the air bubble plants a total of ten times in order to fully inflate the air balloon. If you have objectives enabled and are tracking the quest, the balloon activation icon will show up next to the quest on your screen and that icon can be used without ever having to open your bags. Once you harvest the first air plant, you'll get a new, larger version of the icon appearing in the upper right hand corner of your screen, just to the left of the minimap display. This new icon has a number superimposed upon it, stating how many times you've filled the bag. Also, it has a mouseover tooltip which states: "Inflated Air Balloon: Your balloon is partially filled with air. 10 inflations will probably do the trick."

I can't get this to work. If I'm not near enough to anything, it tells me I'm out of range. If I'm close enough, it says Invalid Target or Target Not Selected or something like that. It seems to want something to be clicked / selected. However, I don't see anything streaming air bubbles that can be clicked. I've swam all over the area and there's nothing to fill the balloon with air. I don't have a problem getting the balloon to spawn, and I've already found the air valve.

Is there something to click/select before you fill the balloon with air? Do you have to be mounted, or un-mounted?

In order to get you must completePreparando o nosso lombo before accepting.
and are NOT needed to take and followups, however that would make you unable to get.
Colar da Lady La-La have 0% drop chance before done and 100% after, however anyone can share you this quest as long as you are 80+lvl.
Anyone can take and do it's followups as long as they are 80+lvl. Quests above are NOT needed for it.

The air valve can be found on the green sand crabs or it can be found at 40, 26. I have found it twice at those exact coordinates.

Do you maybe have yourself selected? I did once, and it told me invalid target. I think you need to make sure that nothing is selected at all. If that's not the issue, I have no idea whatsoever.

How is the air collected? I'm dragging a baloon around & I have Sambino's Air Valve. Clicking Sambino's Air Valve from within my inventory while around the bubbling plants does nothing. ;[
