This was an awesome quest to level skinning in- it might have been because cataclysm was just released, but it looked like the npcs where killing the crocadiles as well, which meant there were bodies litttered everywhere which could be skinned. I went from 20 to 75 in like 10 minutes.

I also noted quite a few copper veins in the general swamp area which were easily accessible.

First of all, the map of Gilneas City above is completely wrong. The quest giver is south of Hailwood Marsh.
Second, it is bugged for me atm. I got the quest, went north to the marsh, but i can't seem to be able to rescue the survivors. There is no way to interact with them. I have tried clicking on them, looking for some device i need to use to rescue them, killing crocs, abandoning and re-acquiring the quest, even re-logging, and nothing.It is the ONLY quest available for me atm and i can't seem to rescue a single survivor. 'bout to RAGE!

My friend had this issue, he made a petition (ticket) and the GM helped them. So maybe if you have this make a ticket 4 a gm.

Yeah depends on when a GM can help you. Last time I had a 5 hour wait to complete this quest. Can't go any further in the line until this one is completed.

Currently this quest is broken, and there are no crocs to rescue the survivors from. Good news for the survivors, bad news for you!

I have confirmed with a Game Master that this is a known issue they are working on, and in the mean time you can open a ticket to request quest completion for the time being.

Ok just now the Quest is fixed on my server. So not sure if it will be for all others but its working on Onyxia.

I had this bug out on me just the other day. In my case, there were crocs and there were villagers, but the two weren't fighting each other.

Abandoning the quest and picking it up again did not solve the problem.

I was going to try a relog when I decided to ask about the quest in /1, on the off-chance that someone else was having issues... and, sure enough, there was another player having problems with it, but, what struck me was that another player said he had just finished it.

So, maybe it has to do with the quest having been completed very recently and the crocs not respawning correctly? Just a guess... but, if it's still bugged for you, I'd try an abandon, relog, and then wait a few minutes if someone else has recently completed it.

This quest is working but there is no bubble on the map that shows you where to go. I found the crocs that you have to kill around 52,75
