Cerellan Whiteclaw is not on the sand with the others. She's in the grass just behind the corpse of Grondal Moonbreeze. The others are really easy to find, just run south along the beach.

This quest was so sad to do... after leveling 5 alts back in oldworld doing the darna lvling route, i kinda got to know the NPCs.

seeing them dead for good in the sand... :(

Gwennyth was the nelf girl that gave those long quest to investigate the dead creatures surrounded by murlocs. :(

Mavralyn Leather gear vendor and leather working supplies.
Terenthis A quest giver. Lead you to Volcor eventually.
Gwennyth Bly'Leggonde Started the dead animals on the shore quest set and always lived on the Flight Path Dock.
Allyndia The food and drink vendor.
Gondral Moonbreeze Your Darkshore Tailoring Trainer.
Barithras Moonshade Giver of a cave mushroom quest.

Doing this quest was making me too sad. So I took the effort to memorialize the fallen and the wounded. I feel a little better.

Also dead, near the quest giver: Laird He was the fish vendor that sent you back to Nessa Shadowsong to talk about the different sort of wildlife in darkshore vs tedressil. Was a quest to promote the travel options, hippogryph or boat.

I never really played alliance or Night elves much at all so i didnt really know many of the Npcs but even still this quest brought a tear to my eye :'(

One of the more emotional quests that have been added with Cataclysm.

This quest along with Homenagem aos mortos made me teary-eyed.

As a longtime member of the Horde, I was unfamiliar with these NPC's when I began my quest as a Worgen. However, that did not make this quest any less touching - in fact, it left me downright teary. I made sure to go around to every lifeless body and give it a final /salute.

:( I just did this quest for the first time on my worgen. This is really sad. Darkshore was one of my favorite areas to quest in. I quested in Darkshore and Teldrassil with every Alliance character I've ever made, and I've even deleted some characters and started over again, just because I liked the quests so much.

[It's too late for Laird, he didn't make it in time.

The last wave of night elves from Auberdine attempted to escape a couple of hours ago. They stayed in their old home, clinging to the hope that it could be salvaged, but it seems they were finally forced out. I fear many of them won't make it, like Laird did not.

Quickly, go down the coast to the west and find any survivors that you can. We're sending Sentinels and Hippogryphs down, but every moment counts - we need to know which ones might make it.]
