I did some math based on my servers (dunemaul) prices for the current materials.
if the price is marked as zero then that is something I thought I could have farmed that with little to no effort on my part Also as I am still trying to get the tokens to buy the other jewel crafting recipes so i marked the Chimera's eyes as what they are selling on my server.

If you are paying more then the max then on my server at you are being gouged, go buy the mats yourself and get another jeweler to make it for you assuming you can find one that has this pattern.

as a further note to fellow jewelers this will probably sell on the AH for twice or even triple what my final price was. Expect it to sell for closer and closer to that price as the next content patch gets closer.

I am combining the two JC crafted comparisons for obvious reasons (e.g. I'm lazy).

Agility Necklace Showdown

First, the fun comparison between the two Agility JC necklaces themselves: +47 Crit with +10 Agility socket vs +10 Agility and +26 Haste with a +10 Mastery socket. After gemming Dueling Banjo-style, you are left with +27 Crit vs +10 Mastery and +6 Haste. This means the Medallion has what appears to be a good 11 item points on the Choker, which is clearly either a bug or stupid. Or both!

The Perfume Broach has the same two stats as the Choker, and in this particular fight the Choker has an ever-so slight item point advantage: +10 Master and +9 Haste vs +16 Crit, after socketing. Three item points is probably not worth the ~5,000g (or more) it would take to get the Choker vs something that drops from a holiday boss. So make sure you hit up Love is in the Air.

The Choker doldrums continue when faced against the Revered necklace from Hyjal: +65 Crit and +21 Haste vs 86 Mastery. Stat-weights differ from spec to spec, but chances are probably good that they don't differ in a sort of "level in Hyjal and get a 5000g+ ring in your mailbox" kind of way.

Finally, how about the Choker vs the JP vendor item? After socketing, the Choker ends up with +10 Mastery and +16 Haste vs 27 Crit. The JP has 1 (one) item point on the crafted Choker. Dot, dot, dot.

Bottom line, this particular pattern is complete garbage. The Brazen Elementium Medallion costs the exact same JC tokens, the exact same materials, has a red socket instead of yellow, and inexplicably enjoys a good 11 item points over this pattern. I can only imagine that one of these was meant to be a Strength DPS necklace, as otherwise including a clearly inferior necklace is too much of a "Gotcha!" design prank/failure.
