Just did this quest on PTR. Your rogue can be logged out while the ring is charging. Corastrasza is located at 29.0, 25.0 in the middle/under the big tree.

Once the ring is charged, use it and turn in the quest and walk outside of the tree to talk to Mostrasz who will fly you Ravenhordt when you talk to him.

BTW, exalted faction rep with Ravenhordt will be of no help in the next quest. All the guards will still be very hostile.

To complete this quest as Alliance you must first visit Thaumaturge Rafir who is in Stormwind located at 50.6, 61.3 and pay him 10.000 gold.
As Horde you go to Thaumaturge Altha located at 57.6, 65.5 in Orgrimmar and also pay 10.000 gold.
He will then give you a Charging Decoder Ring which will turn into a Charged Decoder Ring after 12 hours.

After you have your Decoder Ring charging you go to Corastrasza located in the Twilight Highlands at 29.0, 25.0. She will provide you with a Singed Cipher which you decode with the Charged Decoder Ring after its ready and create Solved Cipher.

Had to pay 10k, then saw a duration on my item freaked me the hell out. Then i came onto wowhead and realized i have to WAIT 12 hours to use the ring. Made me think i had 12 hours to figure it out before i would have to pay another 10k.

Just wanted to confirm that in 4.3 it did not change. It is 12 hrs real time not in game time. So if you raid with your guild at night and pickup the quest item then just logout and in the morning (12 hrs later) you will be able to finish that part of the quest.

I am mentioning this because all other replies about the 12 hrs are from PTR. Good luck on your legendary!

After turning in Proving Your Worth 실력 증명하기, you will need to go to the Ethereals in SW/Org. This is where you now Reforge, Transmog and use Void Storage.

You must have 10k gold in order to charge your Cryptomancer's Decoder Ring https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=74256. An Ethereal, that you can only talks to, Thaumaturge Rafir 마력술사 라피르 (Alliance); Thaumaturge Altha 마력술사 알사 (Horde).

Once you pay him your WOW life savings. It will put a 12hr timer on it. This will complete while logged off.

You then take your newly Charge Decoder Ring 해독 반지 충전 to Corastrasza 코라스트라자 at Vermillion Redoubt, Twilight Highlands. Get the Signed Cipher from her and use it to decode your ring.

She will give you To Ravenholdt 라벤홀트 장원으로

Note that unlike the staff legendary, whose gold cost derives from Sands of Time, this 10,000g fee is immune to all discounts. Bartering and Reputation are useless in the face of an Ethereal.

At this point to proceed with a quest you have to pay 10.000 golds and you have to wait 12 hours for the ring to charge (you can be log-out for the whole time, no need to be in-game for 12 hours).

The stage one daggers have a name currently, as they were dug out of the quest text: Ominous Razor and Ominous Shanker. My guess is the Shanker is the MH, since Shankers have predominantly been slower daggers so far in this game. The Charging Decoder Ring lasts 12 hour of /played time for A Hidden Message. You just need 12 hours /played in order for it to fully charge up. Seems like a weird hurdle to have, especially when it can be accomplished by sitting /afk in, say, Silithus, and after you just forked over 10k gold.

Need to pickpocket "Hagara the Stormbinder", 4th boss. The pocket refills in 15 minutes, or a reset.

Starts and ends at Lord Afrasastrasz (Lord Afrasastrasz) at Wyrmrest Temple inside the Dragon's Soul raid.

- A Hidden Message ( A Hidden Message)
Go to the Ethereals in SW/Org, charge your decoder ring at Thaumaturge Rafir (http://i.imgur.com/rUlWf.jpg). Then get the Singed Cipher from Corastrasza (Corastrasza) at Vermillion Redoubt. Charging the ring costs 10k gold. You must wait 12 hours /played after paying Rafir for the ring to turn into a Charged Decoder Ring. I would recommend leaving Warcraft open while you do other things, and have your character be /busy in an obscure location.

People have used auto keypress programs on the PTR to progress through those 12 hours while they sleep, you are responsible for any risks involved. Just a word of warning.

End at Corastrasza, at Vermillion Redoubt in the Twilight Highlands.

Lastly, you can move after right clicking the Charged Decoder Ring, it will not cancel the cast.

- To Ravenholdt ( To Ravenholdt)
Speak with Mostrasz (Mostrasz) at the Vermillion Redoubt at the entrance under the tree, and fly to Ravenholdt. Talk with Mostrasz once you land.

- To Catch A Thief ( To Catch a Thief)
Stealth through Ravenholdt for the egg, it's located in the basement. Talk to Wrathion at Ravenholdt to end it.

You will gain a somewhat large red circle around you character. It looks similar to: http://i.imgur.com/zxKpL.jpg. This is your safe stealth range, as enemies approach the edge of it, they will become suspicious and look in your direction. They must be either sapped or distracted so you can move past them. Do note that there is a limit to how close you can get to distracted targets. If you can't see the back edge of your "safety zone", then make sure your camera is zoomed out since you can still get attacked from behind.

You will need to get behind Ravenholdt Manor (http://i.imgur.com/VI4L8.jpg), climb up onto the roof and then enter at the top of the spire (http://i.imgur.com/W1gS1.jpg). Once inside you will walk down to the second floor, look for a specific mob that pats underneath you, make sure they are at either end of their pat so you don't land near them, distract them if necessary. Quickly fall to the main floor and run under the stairs so you fall into the basement.

The easiest way I found was to go counter clockwise around the premises, either along the side of the hills or by going straight up to the building and taking a right.

Once you get into the basement, there is a brief cut scene. As of Oct 18th all you see is a placeholder. Wrathion will appear and walk upstairs while talking to you, all the Ravenholdt NPCs are now friendly and you embark on Wrathion's quest by talking to him.

You can find him on the north side of the northeast bridge.

- Assassinate Creed ((Quest #30093))
Find Creed ((NPC #57802) - 58.6, 67.6 @Gilneas City) in the middle of the military district and kill him, enter in through Merchant's square and stealth to him, make heavy use of Sap and Distract. Zazzo will pull you out if you're bad at being a ninja. You can avoid the last few mobs by jumping into the stream under the bridge leading into the Military District.

Creed has 1,859,760 health, and is a two phase fight. He is susceptible to all forms of CC, incapacitates, snares, stuns, etc.

Phase 1 lasts until 75% health, he casts two spells:
- Consuming Darkness - 1 second cast that spawns an AOE underneath the player that does roughly 9k per tick.
- Blackhowl's Will - 1.5 second cast that hits the target for roughly 20k shadow damage.
In phase 2 he adds another spell to his arsenal:
- Shadow Breath - 1 second cast warm up, 3 second channeled duration that deals shadow damage in front of him. The channeled part of the cast is not affected by Mind Numbing Poison.

Return to Wrathion after killing Creed.

Wrathion will reward you with the stage 1 daggers.

- Cluster Clutch ((Quest #30107))
Collect 50 Shadowy Gems from creatures in Dragon Soul. Quest text seems to indicate they will drop from Elementium Gem Clusters, but this seems somewhat odd. It could be a way to reduce the number of people working on the legendary at the same time if the Rogue is required to go back and loot the same item, albeit tedious.

Turn in to Wrathion, in Ravenholdt.

- Our Man in Karazhan ((Quest #30108))
Go to Zazzo, SE of Karazhan.

- Blood of the Betrayer ((Quest #30109))
Sneak into the Master's Cellar at Karazhan (Yay!), and defeat Nalice. It appears that effective use of Stealth and Distract is of the essence for this part. Pick Lock might be used, but who cares.

Might need Arcane Storage Devices to beat Nalice, they should be scattered throughout the cellar.

Grab a vial for Wrathion off the dead body of Nalice, most likely turned into Zazzo, however.

I was wondering, Is it 12 hours /played or just 12 hours. Meaning if i took the quest at 12pm today will it be ready at 12 am tommorow while i sleep or after 12 hours of me playing the game?

You do not have to wait for your 충전 중인 해독 반지 to turn into 충전된 해독 반지 to get 그슬린 암호 from 코라스트라자
After completing 실력 증명하기 you can go straight to Twilight Highlands and speak to 코라스트라자 to get the 그슬린 암호

Word of Warning: DO NOT be doing any other action when agreeing to pay the 10k gold. If you click "Okay" while doing something like applying poison or respecing talents, you will get an error message saying "Another Action Is In Progress" and you WILL NOT receive "Charging Decoder Ring" however you will lose your 10k gold. Sad face.

After 2 tickets, a GM refunded my 10k gold so that I could repeat this part of the quest.

I take pride in the fact that I am a thieving, sneaky rogue and the fact that I have to pay goes against ALL my principles (or lack of them) as a rogue. Let the noble minded paladin pay, let HIM be noble, just, hardworking etc. I am a Rogue let me steal, thieve and do some dirty deed to earn a fee like that but forcing me as rogue to act morally and PAY ....

I feel sick!

I mean its like blizzard giving a paladin a quest to waylay a a bunch of grandmothers on the way to ten pin bowling... its totally out of character.

i made a rogue specificly for this quest not knowing most of the requirements. i read it requires 10k g just for one part of the quest. no thanks blizz. ive never EVER been good at making money on wow and i have 3 85s. people say "oh just farm expensive goods" so i do and by the end ive made 300-400g with cata goods.

dont worry , you can rest , sleep and so one , dont need to be online all 12 hours and it dosent depend on /palyed time, just need to w8 exactly 12 hours for Charging Decoder Ring, after you pay 10k Gold, even can offline all the 12 houre time, have a good game
