The quest helper shows the quest is at Ruins of Aboraz. This is not the correct place. That is where it flies you to after you use snake statue @ the Ruins of Jubuwal, which is right across from the Gurubashi Arena.

Right click the totem and you complete the first objective. Then a dialog screen will come up and you should click through. You transform, fly to spy on him (you don't have to do anything), then are teleported back to the totem.

If you use Carbonite it is giving you the wrong location for Spy on Zanzil
as of Dec 5 2010. it tells you to go to Ruins of Aboraz which is INCORRECT
that is where it takes you once you click on the Totem of Hir'eek.

The correct location where you want to go is to the Totem
of Hir'eek at 54,31 it is at the Ruins of Jubuwal which is
right across from the Grurubashi Arena.

Frist > Go to 54.3 , 31.4 ~~at Ruins of Jubuwal~~
Second > Right click on Totem of Hir'eek

That's all you have to do, then you will be transform into a gargoyle...

I want you to peer into Zanzil's current plans. Take this incense, and place it in front of the bat totem in the Ruins of Jubuwal, to the east. Hir'eek will guide you from there.]
