If the on-hit bonus on this sounds disappointing to you as a hunter, worry not since as long as hunters still use a melee weapon as well, you can benefit from the much more awesome bonus from Kiril, Fury of Beasts, as well!

After obtaining this today, I went to try it on the dummies for a while as a SV/BM hunter.

It's not mentioned in the tooltip, but the DoT deals Fire damage, ~~meaning it only causes an additional 50% damage on a crit, is affected by your spell crit chance, and gains bonuses from survivals additional magic damage.~~
This was hotfixed on January 9th

Vishanka, Jaws of the Earth now invokes Speaking of Rage bonus damage that is treated as ranged damage and benefits from ranged critical strike chance. (Source)

The proc chance is 15% as mentioned in the effect if you click the text here on wowhead, and it does not appear to have an ICD. The DPS gain from the proc will be more significant in AoE situations, since it can proc on any target hit by multi shot and has no cooldown.

It appears to be able to proc from the instant damage from Improved Serpent Sting, but not the serpent sting DoT itself. Simply applying serpent sting without the talent does not appear to be able to proc it.
The initional application of Explosive Shot and Black Arrow can proc the effect, but the DoTs cannot.

The DoT ticks 10 times over the course of the duration, i.e. every 0,2 seconds.

Just a little question , i got this bow few days ago. But i've just loot Ruinblaster Shotgun The Runblaster shotgun. As a troll , so i got the racial bonus on bow , wiche one of those two is the best? Thank you !

After the December 13, 2011 maintenance, it's become exclusive for Hunter

Some items were recently reclassified. This is one such item, so you might find yourself in possession of one of these items and are no longer able to use it. If you looted an item from Looking for Raid which replaced another and you need Game Master assistance to recover your old item, please place a petition with the new item name, that you can no longer use it - and the old item name you need restored.

As a part of the on-going evaluation of Looking For Raid and the loot system, we have recently implemented a change to the Looking For Raid Need Plus system. Weapons, trinkets, rings, neck pieces, shields, offhand items, and the Robe of Glowing Stone are now class-restricted to their intended users. With the speed at which a Raid Finder group moves through a zone, we’ve found that it makes it challenging for players to evaluate loot decisions – by class restricting these items, we hope that the natural behavior will have a more positive set of results for everyone involved. This change will not apply to normal or heroic raid or dungeon loot rules.

The Weapon Proc Damage Scales, Not sure how but it it does... outside of like a 5man it's the default here.. but when I'm inside it went up to 8349... same ilvl for the weapon...

The proc in SV was comparable, or slightly under, Flaming Arrow proc from T12 2pc. It summed up for about 2,7% of my dps, when my FA got to 3. Quite alright for merely a weapon:D

15% proc chance but with a 15 seconds ICD. Expect 3 PPM. This bow's proc amount to almost the same number of procs as Darkmoon Card: Hurricane and doing about same damage overall.

with the number of int/sp items my locks lost to hunters pre-bc, and number of times i lost mail spellpower/int hunter/shaman pvp voa items to hunters i have to say other classes should be allowed to roll on this just to stick it to hunters

The DoT is fire damage and scales with survival mastery. This makes it great for Survival, especially if you're reforging for mastery. The 2pc and 4pc make gearing for mastery great for this tier, since you'll be firing more arcane shots (huge focus gen from 2pc) and those will have the chance to proc haste for you and your pet(4pc)
