This staff is simply amazing. What I like about this is that unlike previous PvP staves, it's not blatantly outshined by PvE staves. Deadly Gladiator's Staff was annihilated by Journey's End for instance, since it was so simply lacking in terms of FAP, non-FAP AP, and abysmal agility for a top-tier staff. Its perks were its stamina (which could be replaced with staves like The Undeath Carrier) and its resilience, which, as every feral druid that showed up on arenajunkies' top team list could tell you, just wasn't worth it on its own.

This sucker did it right, though. It finally has feral attack power that actually qualifies it as a top tier weapon. The 2500 FAP alone (and that before talents kick in) would make up for the fact that it doesn't have any non-feral AP, but even the non-feral AP is made up for in raw agility with the agi to AP 1:1 conversion for cats. It has easily more than 100 agility above any other staff, which you can think of as an equip: increases attack power by 100, and here's some delicious crit chance, too. At last blizzard understands how important agi is to PvP.
Sadly the agi doesn't do as much to help bear form, but thankfully bear form is mostly used as a survival tool in PvP, not a killing tool. While getting all the non-FAP AP from agility is a boon to cats, it doesn't benefit Savage Defense for bears. Personally I don't think that'll be a problem since savage defense is rarely the reason people go bear form when PvPing. If you ARE fretting over bear form, at least agility gives a small handful of armor, and the FAP still makes it well worth it for your savage defense needs.

Don't get me started on the sockets.

Thanks, blizzard. I hope this isn't overpowered, because we desparately needed a weapon like this.

Edit: So it's down to 105 agility after patch, but that's pretty fair all in all. It's still a healthy sum, and the FAP and crit still make it wonderful for all ferals of the arena. A fair nerf.

Is this a druid only staff or can hunters use this? I'm a hunter and I do not see this being sold in the vendor.

Now ferals can beat someone with the ugly stick :/. Why do arena staffs and daggers have to look like crap?
Thinking about getting Furious Gladiator's Bonegrinder since it looks much cooler ;-).

Is this staff still available? Have the requirements been lowered since the Relentless gear is out? The Dalaran vendor does not seem to have it anymore.
