Need to know the internal CD! Assuming one minute internal CD, you're looking at 300mp per minute or 25mp/5....and it has a static 106 spellpower, quite nice but need to know what the internal really is.

I can say that it DOES NOT have a 45 sec Internal cooldown at this point, I have time and time again had it proc back to back just after I lost the buff, Renew Tick then a PW:Shield procc'd it on my Tank on that run alone. I absolutely LOVE it as a healing trinket while I use my Egg from Emblems. If you see this drop with other casters, Beat them with a stick to get this off them. IT IS GREAT for healing. 10 / 10 for it, I highly doubt I will ever replace it because of it sheer proc rate (It's huge) and it's 106 Spell Power makes it very useful if I ever go Shadow :P

I think this is incorrect or they've done a ninja fix on this. I got it on my holy pally and spent at minimum 30 minutes spamming FoL and the buff never procced continuously. The least time between procs was 45secs.

I had a paladin friend get an alcors sunrazor back when it was bop, after they changed it to be boe his was still bop.

Got this of the last boss in heroic Nexus last night. A few things to note, when it says any spell it means it, it proced of me hearthing, when I was making my Wisperglow cloak, and when I was casting earth sheild right before a pull. Seems to have 60 second interal cooldown, but I was chain casting spells to really test it.

The Mp5 buff is called Effervescence, the icon looks like Surge of Light (priest talent) and this confuses me alot lol.

Dropped this evening for me off of the first boss in H Violet Hold (it was the water boss). As has been said, as a world drop that information isn't very pertinent. Don't have a good handle on the proc rate yet, but I'll run some tests on it tomorrow. What I do know is that its procs "Effervescence" which is a net gain of 300 mana. The buff icon for effervescence is the exact same as the buff icon for Surge of Light, so I often got confused why my Flashes of Light were taking time to cast >.<

Having worked with this for about a week, it seems to proc about once for every minute or minute and a half of a boss fight, probably not uniformly. That would be fairly consistent with what's been said about a 10% proc rate and a 45 second internal cooldown. I haven't noticed being able to chain its proc yet, but that would imply no internal cooldown, so at a 10% proc rate that chances of that are about 1 in 100. I think i'll try spamming heals on myself sometime later today and see if i cant get it to proc twice in under 45 seconds.

But, the data suggest so far that at about one proc every 75 seconds, for 300 net mana, its roughly equivalent to 20 mp5. if you consider a proc once a minute, its 25 mp5, and once every 90 seconds would be ~17 mp5.

This Item will be Bind when Equipped come 3.0.8, however the blue posts were about existing Je'Tze's Bell and how they will not become BoE (non-soulbound) when patch hits, only ones that drop after patch 3.0.8 will be BoE.

Your logic on Druids doesn't make a whole lot of sense. You say that mana isn't an issue for us and then mention Illustration of the Dragon Soul, crit/haste trinkets and then rattle off a bunch of regen trinkets.

I generally agree that Resto Druids are not having mana issues enough to value regen stats terribly highly. However, crit only benefits us on Regrowth, Nourish and Healing Touch. We do cast Regrowth a fair amount now but it at best is going to be 30% of our healing and it already has a 50% crit bonus from talents. So crit is not a very desireable stat. Haste is also not particularly valued. We can get our GCD down to 1.2 seconds with just talents. it takes only a small amount of haste to get the remaining .2 seconds to hit the GCD reduction cap from Haste. Anything more is wasted unless you're casting the three spells we mentioned. Which again isn't a huge enough portion of our healing to justify it.

This means that we value Spellpower, Spirit, Int (as it relates to regen) and yes to a small amount mp5. Crit or Haste is largely viewed as wasted itemization.

So let's go through the trinkets you suggested.

Soul of the Dead: Crit based, not something we want (though you were largely suggesting it for a Paladin).
Illustration of the Dragon Soul: Excellent trinket, best trinket for us. One slot filled.
Majestic Dragon Figurine: Regen trinket. But we're not really hurting on mana. It provides 31 Healing from the Spirit to Healing conversion. Which is pretty poor.
Spirit-World Glass: Another Regen Trinket. This one provides 24 Healing across an entire fight from spirit assuming you're using it every single time the cooldown is up.
Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon: Pure regen trinket. Don't need it but boy it is nice if you do.
Figurine - Sapphire Owl: Yeah not everyone is a JC'er, but even with the Prismatic +32 Spellpower gems you're talking 64 spellpower. Still mostly a regen trinket.
Mercurial Alchemist Stone: Not everyone is an alchemist but even so 59 spellpower, 50 haste (ugh we don't want that) and 1760 mana from your one mana pot (assuming you get the maximum from the pot). It's ok but really doesn't do much for us. And it doesn't scale at all if the fight is longer.

Let's look at some options you didn't mention:
Forethought Talisman: 111 Spellpower, but has a proc off direct heals, nice for paladins but probably not ideal for druids.
Battlemaster's Bravery: 111 Spellpower, with a maximum health use. Somewhat useful but that health bonus isn't that great for PVE. Plus you have to get 1800 rating to get it which not everyone wants to bother with.
Darkmoon Card: Illusion: 100 Spellpower, with an on use that pretty much just gives you a free 1200 mana.

Now let's look at Je'Tze's Bell.

106 spellpower. The trinket has an internal cooldown of 45 seconds. Druids can get this to proc very close to the internal cooldown since we're casting a spell every 1.2 - 1.5 seconds. So in a 5 minute fight you'll proc this about 6 maybe 7 times. For a return of 1800 - 2100 mana.

Admittingly this is not great. But 1800 mana is worth more to me than 5 more spellpower on a trinket.

Frankly the best two trinkets are the Illustration of the Dragon Soul and Je'Tze's Bell.

I wish there were better trinket options. But our options aren't that great.

I paid 5k for mine and was willing to shell out 10k. So you're just wrong in my opinion. 20k is probably too much. 5k is reasonable. 10k is probably pushing outrageous but this is the first week that it's available for purchase.

I got mine last night. Went 10man naxx with the guild. I joined half way through, just started clearing mobs for patchwork and it drops off of a patchwork golem. Obviously as it was guild run we rolled and i won with 98 YAY. There was no question of me selling it, I am now the proud owner of it and I think it rathers suits my chars name :D

I think since 3.08 this trinket can also be a great added value for Arcane mages. Since after hit rating, spdmg and int are the most important stats (imo hit>int>sp>crit>haste>spirit), the +106 sp comes in handy. Any additional mana regen for Arcane mages is obviously handy aswell.

Bought this last night for 3.5k gold. Struggling with the decision to equip or resell for profit, but I'm leaning towards keeping it. My current trinkets are https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=40685 and https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42988.

If I decide to keep it, I'm going to replace the Egg of Mortal Essence. As a druid I may not desperately "need" the mp5, but it definitely helps in certain fights, like patchwerk for example. Not to mention, it just looks cool.

Finally i got this amazing trinket!

I have been advertising in trade (on EU-Bronzedragon Flight) asking for this and i found somone who had it, i offered 4,500g, which i think was a very fair price to both of us, and that was accepted and i was a very happy bunny!

As a resto druid my trinket combo now is https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=44254. & https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37835 and i can confirm the following: -

1) Both prock independently of each other and they do proc at the same time.
2) It dosnt prock off over heal HOTS.
3) It appears to have an internal CD of 45 seconds so it can proc once every 60 seconds.
4) When procking it is called "Effervescence" and the duration is 15 seconds.
5) The MP5 buff is static at 100 MP5 and does not change with buffs.
6) 106 Spell Power on equip.
7) It will proc off heals cast only and not HOT's ticking.

After spam testing this trinket i can confirm the following this by casting Life Bloom consrtantly for 6 minutes on my self.

(Proc's are on the times changes)

0 ----- > 52 ----- > 1:58 ----- > 2:53 ----- > 3:43 ----- > 4:35 ----- 5:31 ----- > 6:31

So it appears to have an internal cooldow from this small sample of testing as it procked on 52, 66, 55, 50, 52, 56 & 60 seconds while spamming Life Bloom so i would guess that it is fair to say on these numbers, in a 5-6 minute fight, you will get around 7 procs from this trinket which is 7 * 300 = 2100 mana back for a typical Naxx encounter.

So effectivly 330 seconds of casting gives around 7 procks and this means the numbers are as follows: -

7 * 300 = 2100 mana / 330 seconds = 6.36 mana per second * 5 = 31.81 MP5.

The closer this gets to 5 minutes the better it performs when compared to https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42988. as this has a 5 minute CD so in a 9 minute fight you would get to use this trinket 2 times (2400 mana) where https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37835 will proc 10 times producing 3,000 mana back so they are both comparable but this trinket is superior because of the internal proc and the increased spell power.

Hope this heps some people decide but for me i'm still delighted with this trinket combo.

If it has an internal cooldown of 45 seconds it can proc every 45 seconds. The internal cooldowns start when you receive the buff. Not when the buff expires. So ideally it will proc once every 45 seconds. However, it may be more realistic to figure once every 60 seconds just in case you're unlucky or casting slower spells when the cooldown is up. I guess it depends upon your class and what you are casting.

Ok lets be realistic. I also think this is a great trinket, but its just not worth it for most people (me included).

10% chance on spellcast to procc and each procc gives 300 mana, +45sec internal CD.
If you are spamming instant spells its kind of safe to say that it will procc once a minute tops, and to be honest it probably wont procc that often. Roughly it gives 300mana/minute = 25mp/5 (but probably a little less) + 106 Spellpower.

But compared to https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42988 its not that much of an improvement (I compare to Illusion because its a trinket everyone easily can collect, and its rather cheap)
Darkmooncard:Illusion gives 1200mana/5min + 100 spellpower. If your fight is exactly 5minutes long Jetzes bell win, that is true, but in a 5min fight mana will probably not be an issue anyway so its not really relevant. However in fights longer then 5minutes (where mana-regen becomes important) simply use Illusion 10-15 secs into the fight and 5 mins later the CD is over and you can get 1200 more mana from it, so used right it provides 2400mana instead of 1200.
If used twice in long fights illusion gives you:
2400/6min fight = 33mp/5
2400/7min fight = 28mp/5
2400/8min fight = 25mp/5 (ok I know its a little strange to calculate like this but I think you get the picture)

So if the fights are shorter then 5 mins Jetzes bell win, but mana is irrelevant in short fights.
In fights 5-8mins (a normal raid bossfight), Illusion can actually provide more mana then JB.
Jetzes bell har 6 spellpower more then Illusion but thats about it IMO, and considering the price for JB is 7-10k g and Illusion goes for about 1-1,2k g (on my server at least, cheaper if you collect the cards yourself) I would say JB is very overrated.

Is it worth it to buy JB instead of Illusion? For some (very rich) people maybe, but not for me. JB is slightly better then Illusion, but the improvement is so small Id rather save my 7k g and get better enchants/gems/pots etc..

Dont waste you money people, at least wait until the price on the trinket drops to a more realistic level

I picked this up for 3K. Someone was advertising it for 2500 in trade channel, said he got a bid for 2700 so I offered 3K and won it. I'm using it for my Discipline Priest. Discipline +healing doesn't scale as well as holy so this is a most welcome 100+ SP upgrade, which works nicely along with my https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=40258.

The mana regen is nice but not really needed as Disc. It can't hurt. However the SP upgrade alone was worth it to me.

Stormdruid, I see your point about the gold. If you got tons of gold and nothing to spend it on sure you can get this trinket for 10000, its a great trinket.
However I doubt your testing is really a good way to test this trinkets potential. Ok, if you are a druid and do nothing but spam Lifebloom in an entire bossfight them maybe you can get it up to 32mp/5, but IRL it will probably not procc that often. You will be running around a bit, avoid aoe etc, so the real manaregen from the trinket will almost garanteed be a bit lower then 32mp/5.

And about your complaining about activating the use-effect on https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42988: do you really think its that difficult to press a single button once every 5 minutes? Just press it once in the beginning of the fight (after you have spent 1200 mana), then press it 5 mins later.. not really rocket-science imo.

Dont get me wrong. Jetzes Bell IS better then https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42988, but only slightly better.

Some people say they have bought it for 3k, and that is about a fair price I think.

Agreed, 10k sounds pretty excessive, and 20k as someone mentioned is just insane. But just remember to consider the additional "coolness" value. This is an extremely rare trinket, and while it is extremely efficient and useful, there is also a degree of pride in having it, kinda like a rare mount. Thats just my opinion :)

So I wanted to try my luck and sell this thing for a lot more than what I've seen in the comments here and in thottbot.

I put it up in the AH for 16 000g buyout with 8 000 bid.
Near the end of the listing I started to get bids and finally a buyout. Needless to say, I'm very happy.

So for anyone trying to sell this I really suggest you try and push your luck. It's only 6g to list and if you have all the time in the world, it's really worth waiting it out.

10 000g may be too much for some people but some players out there have a lot of gold to waste.

edit: crap... I just read that someone sold it for over 20k. I really should have pushed it for more.

This procs on all heal casts, instant or not, with a 45 second internal cooldown.

Considering this is an approx 30mp5, 106 spellpower trink, I would say this is the BEST healing trinket for a resto druid, combined with either Illustration of the Dragon Soul or Majestic Dragon Figurine depending on your regen / spellpower needs. It is most likely one of the best healer trinkets period. If you stumble across one, you will at least get 5k G, if not 10k G (I just managed to get mine for 5k :D).
If you can afford one, buy it, you most likely wont be replacing it until the next content patch!

The expected amount of mana returned (E), depending upon the time it takes you to cast a spell (C in seconds) and the length of the fight (L in seconds) should be calculated like this:

E = 300 (1 + (L / 10 - C) / (C + 4.5))

Assumptions here are:
Mana returned per proc: 300
Procrate: 10%
Internal CD: 45 s
L >= 10 C (Meaning that the fight is at least long enough for you to cast 10 spells. )

Note that the expected value is an average and therefore doesn't have to be a multiple of 300 mana. This formula does not take clipping of the proc or the cooldown at the end of the fight into account. If you want discrete numbers, just round down the result to the next mutiple of 300. 1882 mana returned would become 1800 mana returned and hence 6 procs. I chose not to do this in the table below because the arbitrary length of the fights would skew the numbers.

A couple of exemplary mana returns, all values are rounded to the nearest integer:

This shows that while cast time has an effect on the returns, the effect is still quite good on slower spells. The 5 second spell is there as an example of a fight where you don't spam your spells.

Shorter fights make the bell even better due to the fact that the first proc should happen only a few seconds into the fight while all following procs need to wait for the 45 sec internal CD.

Before you shell out 10k gold for this trinket, consider the following.

This trinket restores 300 mana every time it procs, with an ICD of 45 seconds. The proc rate is 10% which means on average it takes 10 casts for it to proc. Most resto druids don't have very much haste, and rightly so, so I'm going to assume a 1.1 second GCD, which requires 328 haste. This means on average you proc once every 45 + 11 = 56 seconds which comes out to 26.79 mp5 ~ 27 mp5.

Now consider:

https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42988 Goes for between 800-1200 gold on my server.

The proc averages to 1200 mana every 5 minutes which is 20 mp5. However, in reality, it is much better. Say it's a 6 minute fight, then you can actually get 2400 mana in 6 minutes, or 33 mp5. If you think about it, the mp5 approaches 20 from above as fight length approaches infinity, i.e. it is ALWAYS better than 20 mp5. So if you pop the Illusion every CD, it will on average be roughly the same mp5 as the bell. However, I believe the card is even better because you can control when to pop it. So if you just macro it you can get at least 20 mp5 but if you pop it intelligently, you can get a much better effect (i.e. the 1200 mana when you need it most). This is why I believe that the card is actually a better trinket, not merely slightly worse for a lot less gold. IMHO, there is no reason to spend a lot of gold on the bell if you do not already have the card.

I cannot agree here. First of all the concept of "mana when you need it most" is a bit alien to me. I can only see very few reasons as to why I would want to gain mana later than at the first possible opportunity (when my mana is low enough to actually use the full effect). Reasons I can see are:

Replenishment - You get Replenishment more often if you are low on mana.
Soul Shard / Ankh / Rebirth - You die and get rezzed at low mana.
Percentage based mana drain effects - KT's Detonate Mana for example

Of these three points only the third seems relevant to me, since stealing Replenishment from other classes doesn't help the raid in any way and dying is something you should not do in the first place.

All "wait for the opportune moment" strategies have in common that you get less mana out of your trinket. If it takes you 6 minutes to kill KT and you only use the trinket after getting mana detonated, chances are that you only get one use out of it in that fight, making it worth - *ghasp* - less than 20mp5!

Looking at those facts, I personally would use the trinket whenever it is up. Sadly not really macroable since I don't want it popped on my first spell.
Assuming no human errors, the mana returns, depending on the length of the fight, would look like this:

We see explosive mp5 values for very short fights, but those never rely on mana. I calculated the average mp5 returned for fights between 4 and 10 minutes length to be 26mp5, leaving it about equal with the bell at 2.2s cast speed. So everyone with a bit of haste should get equal or higher benefits from the bell, assuming they are spamming and using the darkmoon card perfectly.

Note: I used a far more detailed table than the one above to calculate the average so the 26 mp5 should be quite exact. Again all values rounded to the nearest integer.

Recently I have seen this on my realm's (US- Cho'gall) AH as high as 21k buyout. Makes me really happy that I got it at 3.5k a few weeks ago.

While this is a superb trinket, don't be foolish and spend something like 15-20k gold on this. The Darkmoon Card: Illusion you get from Prisms Deck is much more affordable (500-900g on my server) and it also offers a minor mp5 component which is actually on use instead of a proc.

Also, for some reason this trinket is ilvl200 and not 213, so you won't be getting the Epic achievement with this.

I agree with everything, except for the following line (which doesn't really affect the trinket selection you mentioned):

That is so false for resto druids right now.

You should ONLY prioritize mana regen over crit or haste up to the point where you have all the mana you need (getting a full mana bar from innervate, not having to save mana on long fights). After that point, it's spell power > haste until you reach a 1.0 second GCD raid buffed. And after that, it's spell power > crit all the way.

That's precisely the reason why Valorous Dreamwalker Headpiece is widely considered (just check the EJ forums) the worst piece of the set, since it's the only one with mp5 instead of haste or crit.

I was lucky enough to get both https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37835 and https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37657 as drops and now use them in tandem on my Holy Priest. To confirm...

1) Yes, they do proc independently on unique timers. I see them proc at the same time and separately at random.

2) Yes, the regen stacks. Spark of Life and Effervescence are two separate buffs. Thus you can have up to 276 mana per 5 added if both proc at the same time.

3) Yes, I absolutely love a static 106 spell power, 73 spell haste, and up to 276 mana per 5 from two trinket slots.

I also have the Spirit-World Glass, which I have dropped in favor of this combo for now.

I'll try to parse together some logs comparing this combo with the Spirit-World Glass (the other very good priest trinket) using some OS5SR action to see what is the most beneficial over all. My guess is that for situations where constant casting is needed this pair is vastly superior and for slower paced action the Spirit-World Glass is quite solid.

As of right now, I cannot think of a better combo of trinkets for a Holy Priest -- especially as we run the 10 man raids with only 2 healers which is a strain on mana for any Holy Priest.

In this case, with a trinket that does this kind of mana regeneration and adds this much to spellpower, you truly are...saved by the Bell.

Yeah this trinket is definitely second best of slot for resto druids. Best is Illustration of the Dragon soul. 200 constant spell power. DMC Illusion is about a tie I'd say with Jetze's. I have to agree about the regen thing. Once you have plenty of mana for a fight given a pot and possibly an innervate, if you actually use it on yourself, there is no reason to keep stacking regen.

That said I think third best is a toss up between Magestic Dragon Figurine which amounts to 72 mp5 while casting and 34 spell power in tree and Forethought Talisman which is 111 spell power and a little hot doohicky that tends to amount to 3k healing over the course of a 5-6 minute fight. I consider the Figurine a bit better but if you can't seem to give mana away, Forethought wins.

This is a pretty good PvE trinket, obviously. The mana regen boost helps casters quite a bit in long boss fights in raids and heroics. If you can't use it (if you're a melee centered class), it sells for quite a bit on the AH.

I just picked this trinket up for 4k g this morning and I couldn't be happier. For a resto shammie, this is an amazing trinket. It let me drop my JC trinket and use my dragon's eyes on my gear. All I had to do was sell some valor bracers to raise most of the cash, so it really didn'y cost me any time grinding gold at all. And the MP5 on this one, when combined with the Spark of LIfe for long fights (KT or Sarth 2 or 3d) means I can afford to sacrifice some MP5 on gear and take other stats instead. Overall, a significant upgrade. Now if I could just win the roll for the dragon soul......lol!

But IF i was a Jewel Crafter - the https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42413 fitted with https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42146 and https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=42144 would give you a very nice healer trinket - 2340 mana over 12 sec. and 13 Mp5 wich adds up to a total of 3120 mana over a 5 min period. True, it only have 32 spellpower but 42 intellect instead. (Jeweler's gem´s are unique equipped)
Pretty nice for 1 item...
Remember - it's not all about spellpower and haste and crit, but enough healing to keep them alive ;o)

After trying to get this trinket everyday on my Resto Shaman from when it was BoP, to trying to buy one when it was changed to BoE, and still grinding for it, I finally got it. The funny thing is that I basically gave up getting it on my Shaman. I had auto loot on and I was just doing the Sons of Hodir dailies, Hot and Cold specifically, and killing Battle Revenants. I didn't notice anything for about 5 minutes and I saw the you have received loot Je'Tze's Bell. I couldn't believe it.

With current item listing on: www.mmo-champion.com for "Spell power / caster" trinkets. I think So far it still ranks very high. If the Mp5 does not look appealing to someone the 106 Spell power is amongst the highest when talking in terms of bonus Spell power. Geared more for a healer but if you stack raw spell power this trinket would not be a bad slot item.

I know myself along with other healing classes are hoping for some really good trinkets aimed at the healing builds. Current content doesn't offer much in the way of "standout" healing trinkets.

If you have a chance to pick this trinket up for a good price (4.5k - 8k) I would recommend getting it now while you have time to recover the cost before the new content hits.

Just a price note for anyone interested. This dropped for me while I was leveling my warrior in Icecrown (doing Fleshwerks quests). When I got back to town, posted in trade, I had an offer of 5200G within a few mins. Could I have gotten more? Maybe. I had actually thought about keeping it for my holy pally, but my Owl is still better, and gold is always nice.

The next upgrade from this trinket is Sif's Remembrance, a Thorim10 hard-mode drop which gives 4 extra static spellpower and 56 extra mp5 on proc compared to Je'Tze's Bell.

An even better upgrade is Show of Faith, a Yogg-saron25 hard-mode drop which gives 140 static spellpower and 193mp5 for 15seconds on proc.

It's pretty simple to illustrate with an example

The Bell grants 300 mana per minute, assuming the best case scenario.

Illusion grants 1200 mana per 5 minutes, assuming you cast it after a few healing spells.

Value per Fight Length:

1-4 Minutes: Illusion is the best.
4 Minutes exactly: They're the same.
4-5 Minutes: Bell is the best by 300 mana.
5-8 Minutes: Illusion is the best.
8 Minutes exactly: They're the same.
8-9 Minutes: Bell is the best by 300 mana.
9-12 Minutes: Illusion is the best.
12 Minutes exactly: They're the same.
12-13 Minutes: Bell is the best by 300 mana.

This trinket is good indeed, especially for shamans/druid. But for a holy pally there are better ones out there though.

I had the luxury to be able to sell 2 bells up till now! One sold for 3600g three weeks ago. The other one is still on AH now, but already got a bid on it for 3100g.
I do find it extremely funny when I get a whisper asking the price and when I tell them, they say I'm crazy!
"You're crazy mate! You'll be glad if you can sell it for 600g!" "You're full of cr*p, send me a screenshot if you sell it for 1k or more, liar."

This really cracks me up! It's embarassing to see how many people don't know the marketprices on AH and dont have Auctioneer Advanced. I always tell them to check WoWhead as a reference, but they remain in ignorance...

This is not true. EVERYBODY knows there is a global coldown on those kinda of trinkets, so those spells inside of global coldown, CANT proc the effect.

Holy priest here, just bought one for 500g on the auction house. And after reading the comments about the various price listings on servers, I'm quite happy!

I wonder if it's worth replacing my though. Apparently, it's worth around 50ish mp5, while this trinket is down by about 20ish mp5, BUT it gives 106 spell power (compared to the +84 int gives). Any suggestions?

Just looted this from a Kvaldir Reaver in Hrothgar's Landing. It certainly surprised me as I had read the drop rate was .1% off of mobs in Heroics.

Should I save it for my shaman alt I'm levelling or sell it for the 4.5k it seems to go for on Darkspear? I would equip it on my mage, but I already have Abyssal Rune and the Mithril Pocketwatch.

Not worth as much as it used to be on my server. Used to see it up for 7-8k, then about 6 months ago it dropped to where none will sell. Steadily it went to 6k, 5k, 4k, etc. Mine never sold for any of those prices, so I eventually sported it for the hell of it. Now they are up for 1k and probably still don't sell.

This peace of epic seems tobe hard to sell on my realm (Anachronos).
Had it in a few times with other people for 3500g-ish after a week tried 900g-ish.. still not sold it..

Im considering using it on my Shaman since i still have https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=37560 and https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=35750, upgrade the green will atleast look good when i get /inspect-ed but so far i can heal heroics easily. Keeping up mana 12 of 18k most of the trash fights and 3k in worst-case secanario's.

Which means that I as a warrior couldnt roll on it but the pala/priest in my group could.

My priest just got this in Draktharon Keep off a trash mob. It's BOE. On the AH on Windrunner it sells for around 1600g based on AH scans with Auctioneer. I"m using it though for raiding and boss fights.

A long time ago, in a land called Azeroth.... I had just gotten my first piece of T10 (the gloves) and went back to IF to check my auctions. As I finished and came out of the AH to go to either the bank or the mailbox, someone opened trade on the middle of one of the bridges. I knew not this Gnomish Mage. No message beforehand asking anything about anything. So the trade box was opened, then popped this little trinket in their side. I asked how much they wanted, they just accepted. Free of charge. I saw it was purple and immeadatly thought "If I cant use it, at least its worth a pretty penny!" Alas, I kept on my way, and a minute later, I got a whisper from the aformentioned player. "I saw that this was better than the trinket you have ;D" Not 15 seconds later, I compared it to the two trinkets I had at the moment. As the random player did say, the Bell was indeed better than both of the trinkets I had. And I dont mean by a little. They were A HELLUVA lot better! After that I never heard from them again. They had logged right after that and I have no clue what their name was.

I have been using this for months now, as I think it was at the beginning of the summer of '10 I got it. This bell is still trustworth, both as a trinket, and as a reminder of the good in peoples heart. This will always be on my person, just as a reminder. Random acts of kindness always bring the good back into a game, and keep me playing.

I hope this little Gnome Mage defeats the Lich King, Deathwing, and up to Seargas, where the tale of him will change the hearts and souls of Azerothians forevermore.

The recent game mechanic changes made with 4.0.1 have changed this trinket quite a bit, and make it quite useful now (or at least more so than it was before). It's essentially a baby version of Purified Lunar Dust now.
