The neat thing about this item is when you make it it says level 30, however, when you summon it its level significantly changes upwards. My 70 mage has one and every time i use it, a level 73 dragon appears for 1.5 min. its pretty cool! Yes, a wonderful item indeed. (however i dont know the specs on the damage it does. i just thought it was pretty spiffy it was level 73 XD )

The level of the dragonling is based on your Engineering skill level -- 1 level for every 5 points.

can you have 2 of this trinkets on? So u can use one of the dragons, and then when it is gone you could use the other?

Limited quantity item at the vendor, but I think it can be re-bought every 10 mins.

I just camped the vendor for a bit, and ten mins later I bought my second one.

It says unique-equipped which means that you can only have 1 equipped at a time.

Purchased this schematic at 3:05 pm server time; still no respawn 10 minutes later.
Apparently, the respawn timer is 15 minutes, I just bought a second one at 3:20 pm server.

EDIT: After another 15 minutes, there was no respawn of the schematic, but 30 minutes after buying the second one, there was another, which I also bought. At 4:15 pm server, I gave up trying to see if a third would appear. It's possible that the respawn rate increases exponentially.

This one is a bit frustrating. I'm not sure if there is an actual way to get up this hill, but if you keep running and jumping a bit south of this location you'll be able to get up there. He and his friend (who sells the scope pattern) are a couple of gnomes at a hut up on the ridge.

I found him before, but was unable to find him again, do you have coordinates? Hes around the ogre mound I know, and I thought there was a path going there.

is this dragonling expendable, like it'll go away once its used? becuase the schematic says its expendible but the dragon says it isnt...becuase im not going to use 1 fused wire for a dragon that lasts 1 min....

this dragonling is sooo sweet... i use it almost every time i get attacked in PvP or in a tight battle as it can tip the fight in my favour heaps and its just great for a backup.
Allows me to run away if i need too, gives me time to heal, drags off 1 guy from a group. its like u become a hunter or warlock for a min lol
i had to pay heaps at the AH for the schematic (like 28g) which realy suxs and i wish it worked every 1/2 hour or something but its pretty cool...
and i just heard about the other 2 types so now im looking for the mithril and arcanite version and the then ive got 3 per hour !

It cost 1 gold at vendor. He had one when I came but went AFK for a few and he spawned another. It's the goblins that sell this so it should be open for both Allied and Horde players :)

He is at 34,37. There is a tent at the foot of the mountain. And you run up the mountain near that tent.

It's a touch schematic for anyone to get, especially lower levels. First you have to fight through some apes and trolls and then you have to find a way up the hill. I've only found one spot where I can do it and sometimes it takes me 10 or 20 tries to jump in just the right way to get up the hill. That's why I always try to buy the schematic when I'm in the area and put it up at the AH for just a small profit in an effort to help other engineers out like someone did for me when I bought the schematic at lvl 30.

The way I do it is to go up a little hill between two of the troll ruins to the south. There is a caster and a warrior at the top of the hill and I kill them and then go a little south of them near the southernmost troll ruin and there's one spot where I can eventually jump in just the right way to get on top of the bigger hill. Its hard to describe where this spot is so you'll just have to experiment until you find it. But if you find yourself on top of the wall of the southernmost troll ruin then you have gone too far. Its near the wall, but not on it is the best I can say.

Here's additional info for those trying to get to these NPC's. (it's only 1G for the Dragonling schematic).

As you can see by the image posted, the Orge Mound is north of where the Engineering NPC's are located.
You might encounter a few lvl37 Gorillas while on your way to this location. Just head toward the ridge and run along the ridgeline til you find an opening that will take you to them.

Easy path up, starting at 49.45 38.06. Go up the gentle slope, slide left a bit to the ridge when you can't continue up the hill and you are at a little path. Head left along the gully and you are there.

The schematic is on a fairly short respawn timer (after I bought one, another was available 9 minutes later).
