I found the lake and the crystal but can't get the crap to work...I've almost drowned trying to get it to work.

Shouldn't they have tested the neutralizing agent BEFORE they dumped it in the lake, rather then test it immediately after you turn in the quest?

in case omeone doesn't have coords, leave the crash site following (or swimming in) the stream, follow it south, then southwest into the lake

Thank goodness, I think it'll work! I have an agent for you to spread at Silverline Lake to the south. It will neutralize the effects of the irradiated ship's power crystal that fell there.

Swim out and scatter the neutralizing agent near it. Don't worry, you won't be exposed long enough to become irradiated.
