Worth to do this even at level 80. It gives about 100g total and the boss can be soloed.

I got 91 Gold and a bunch of potions from the reward. I had purple and blues and easily soloed boss at level 80.

Taken from www.wowhead.com/cata, just to clear things out

1. Farm Twilight Cultist humanoids in Silithus. You will need 16 complete twilight sets and 9 large brilliant shards to get the materials to summon the boss that drops this.

2. Use 12 twilight cultist sets to summon 12 Templars from the Lesser Windstones. You may need another person's help, but the Templars are soloable. Each will drop an Abyssal Crest. You will have 12 crests at the end of your summons.

3. If you are Friendly with Cenarion Circle, you will be able to trade in 3 abyssal crests + 1 large brilliant shard for a 'Twilight Medallion of Station'. Do this 4 times, yeilding 4 Medallions of Stations.

4. Take 3 Medallion of Stations and 3 Twilight Cultists sets, and four other party members, and use them on Normal Windstones to summon Abyssal Dukes. Each Duke drops an Abyssal Signet. You should have 3 of these at the end of your summons.

5. If you are revered with Cenarion Hold, you will be able to turn in the 3 Abyssal Signets + 5 Large Brilliant Shards for a "Twilight Ring of Lordship". Take this ring, your last medallion, and your last twilight cultist set and use it on a Greater Windstone. This will summon a Twilight Lord, which have a good chance of droppnig epics.

This may sound like a silly question, but...
Can the scepter from this quest be used to also complete A Humble Offering?
Or do we have to go through the trouble of getting another scepter?

This quest did not become available until I was Revered with Cenarion Circle.

The fire boss has about 39K hp, just so you know for lvl 80 what you would be facing.

I've just soloed this quest as a lvl75 BM Hunter. It's not difficult. The mob that spawned had ~38k health and didn't hit hard.

The reward for this quest is awesome! 95 gold in the chest, plus an epic drop from the boss (BOP) and the other junk that can be vendored for cca. 100 gold total. And don't forget the 2.7 gold (+extra gold for highest level characters) for just completing the quest.

Also, confirming 1000 reputation gain with Cenarion Circle.

Edit: The money you loot from the Chest of Spoils counts towards Got My Mind On My Money.

Does anyone know if the repeatable follow up quest to this one requires 3 scepters (analogous to repeatable crest and signet quests) or just one?

Can you always pick it up when you have the quest?
Or does the entire raid group have to roll on 1 scepter? And if this is the case, can people not revered with CC even pick it up?

Anyone can pick it up and it isn't BoP. I just got one myself and I'm only at friendly.

But what would be the point if you weren't Revered with CC? You can't really summon things after Abyssal Lords, so this is only useful for the repeatable quest. The only way to get the repeatable quest is if you're Revered with CC (which will take a lot of time and dedication, unless you want to buy 75 stacks of Encrypted Twilight Texts.)Therein lies the problem. I guess you could sell it on AH or something, but that would be it.

i will smack anyone who gets Scepter, it takes a lot of money or work (which ever you do) do summon a raid boss and it would ONLY make sence if they get it, after all it is the most important reason why they are doing it, bosses still drop a BoP and it is fine when someone else gets it, they take 25+ ppl to do, but some are harder than others (there are 4 types)

So after you turn in 1 for a chest, It goes to 3? Bit ridiculous considering how much more effort these guys take, and the respawn time on the stones =X

Quest currently gives +1000 rep with Cenarion Circle.

Nerfed boss provides a mild challenge for 2 lvl 70s, but all of the farming leading up to it, including gathering 9x Large Brilliant Shard makes the rewards and rep hardly worth it.

It is much more worth while to collect Encrypted Twilight Text and Abyssal Crest for grinding rep at this point.

soloed with my lvl 74 rest palading. had to use lay on hands and super mana potion. used seal of wisdom + judgement of wisdom. still run out of mana and made killing hit with 2k health left.

just completed this quest rewards out of the chest included 99g 99s 62c a rogue/feral druid blue belt, 5 major man/heal pots, 5 of each greater protection pot, 3 or 4 of each essence and various other smaller items. total it was a 5 page loot box chest.

as with the other 2 turn ins this one is repeatable as well and requires 3 of the scepters afterwards.
