Once you complete assembling the ball from the yeti hide and the feathers, you must throw it for the cub to fetch to complete the quest.

I got my Yeti hide on first kill near the caves, but where do you find the 'wildkin' feathers?

All what you actually should do is to collect five of
from the Owls and one of from the mobe that looks like big foot <(^_^)> anc click on the toy will be dropped in you'r bag click on it and through it for Winter spring cub

Progression

Notes

To make the cat toy, you need these things:

Tough Yeti Hide (1)
Dropped by the yeti just south of the Winterfall Village in the cave.
Wildkin Feather (5)
Dropped by the Owlbeasts in The Hidden Grove.

After collecting the hide and feathers, right-click to combine them into the cat toy. Then right-click the toy to Use it.
Using the toy produces a ground targeted area of effect targeting circle. Click the circle to have the cub play with the toy.
The Hidden Grove can be found at the north end of Winterspring, due north of Everlook, and is labeled on the game map.

For those that are killing Owlbeasts into extinction with no feathers, I just discovered that you need to kill Yetis first until u get the hide, THEN go kill owlbeasts and presto 100% droprate

Oh, dunno if this is of any importance at all but my Hide dropped of a Yeti Patriarch all the way back in the yeti cave (67,54)

And ofcourse, like for many other quest, you cant get the feathers and hide if you are in a RAID group.
I should've realised, but I killed ALL possible moonkins in the whole winterspring and finally realised why I didn't got any.. Silly me.

I cant seem to collect the feathers or the yeti hide :( Help!

Have killed the yeti cave 5 times over and still not a sniff of a yeti hide :( thought maybe i needed the feather first but killed pover 200 and no feather either am i doing something wrong?

Descrizione

[The winterspring cub plays with a small tuft of fur from a large animal, batting the discarded hair about. While your cub looks like it's enjoying the new game, you wonder if it might get more enjoyment from a proper cat toy.

With a little bit of leather from a yeti pelt and some feathers from crazed moonkin, you could make a respectable toy. You'll need a hide from the yeti in the Ice Thistle Hills southeast of Everlook and feathers from the moonkin at the Hidden Grove or Owl Wing Thicket.]
