Objective is to clean the squirrels. They are hard to see in the terrain but if you've got the quest, Running their Course, you'll see them while killing Felrot Coursers.

You can clean the squirrels just by right clicking on them when you get close enough. You don't need to 'use' any item- just right click on the squirrel itself.

I ran this quest with no one else around... squirrels seem to be rare, centered in a radius of about 1 tloc around 45.9, 34.7.

It might be hard to do this with competition. Though respawn rate seems high. Yet even I had to wait on respawns.

You can make a macro that'll help out with finding the squirrels. Since they are so small and hard to see:

/target Tainted Squirrel
/script SetRaidTargetIcon("target",6)

This has got to be one of the funnier quests that I have yet to do. I got such a laugh when my toon finished "cleaning" and the squirrel POPPED out of my hands and ran around with "Love"

I had wondered why the Tainted Squirrels I had seen earlier were "friendly" Now I see why. Figures it would be a cutsie little quest... but fun nonetheless.

This looks REALLY weird when doing it as a Worgen. Looks more like you're pounding their squirrely skulls into bits than actually cleaning them.

[The larger animals are often too far corrupted to save, but you'd be surprised how hardy the little ones are.

Take the squirrels, for example. After washing in corrupted water, they can spread illness far from the original source, but it's slow to affect the squirrels themselves. In fact, a simple washing will result in a clean squirrel and a safer forest!

Here, take this bottle of cleaning mixture. Grab and scrub any squirrel you see in the woods to the south... they'll be thankful for it!]
