Could not complete the quest after Vex'tul jumped in the fire. There were no NPC I could give the quest in.

I have no quest tracker addons but still couldn't complete it. Tried disabling all addons - still no good. Maybe I need to abandon and start again?

Can this quest be obtained after you drop it? Can the dead body be reacquired if you throw it out?
I only ask because I don't want to get rid of Vex'tul, but I also don't want to lose the potential to obtain the quest reward armor in the future. I didn't realize the quest before this was unnecessary for the achievement Full Caravan. I suppose if I had not accepted the quest it would have been the ideal solution to this problem. I also didn't realize Vex'tul was in the caravan at that point.

I seem to be having a unique problem with this quest. I received the quest and the quest item (Body of Warlord Thresh'jin), however the item only displays the tooltip "Retrieving item information" when i mouse-over the item.

Update: I completely closed WoW, and upon reload, it appeared to have fixed this problem...

You actually see Vex'Tul when your killing the banshee to save Gidwin. Hes in the corner as a ghost.

once you have done the Body of Warlord Thresh'jin quest click on the quest item at the bonfire and it will throw the body into it. it took me 3 attempts to do this and it was a bit annoying hope this helps

For those thinking "Hey! I have a cool new undead troll buddy!" if they so not finish the quest - there's one huge drawback.

Vexxy is linked to Zul'Mashar and will only appear in that zone area. :P

It would be cool if you could have him outside the area for a goof or for role-playing, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

I know it's only a game but when I completed this quest I was really sad to see him go. ='(

This quest line is my favorite in the game.
