What's with wowhead saying this quest ends/starts in Shimmering Expanse?

Does this quest require Cataclysm? I have looked all over using the map and an add-on quest tracker. All I can think of is you have upgrade for this level 15 or so quest.

Edit: The item is where the map shows it. My add-on is messed up in that area.

Started the quest with only the original game and no expansions, and the flowers show up as those little white-and-blue grid cubes. They are very small, and you can't really see the quest-glitter coming off of them, which makes this quest hard without the expansion.

Just run around the trees in the mentioned areas and you can usually find them around the base, you will find them eventually.

For me it just showed a blue and white checkered box with barely noticeable glitter around it. It did not look like a plant for me, but as stated before I found them around the bases of trees.

I was having troubles with this quest right away, I ended up abandoning it and getting it again. I followed the map like it showed. I started walking towards the wall and found a bush that was glittering and I decided to just follow the coast and found the rest of them
