New daily available with the new world changes as of 4.0.3a after doing its starting quest from same NPC:
It scales with level, getting a NPC of same level. Easy if done without anyone around.

When inside the Arena you will get flagged for combat (different from being PVP flagged) and anyone can attack you, so I advise not to try this during chest times or you in for a big fight.

This daily quest is pretty interesting; at 60 i've gotten everything from a classic-looking shadow priests and mages to starting-geared death knight mobs. I could upload a screenie or two if i get the chance. A friend of mine tried this on his 70 and claimed that he fought mobs appearing in 70 pvp/pve armor/weapon, so one would assume that (dependent on level) you get somewhat of a 'twink' opponent, based on your relative level.

Just did it and i got a lvl 85 paladin wearing t2. so im guessing its all random, class/race/gear.

Is there any point to this quest, other than the fifteen gold (and the chance of real pvp, if that counts)?

Very annoying ...

hunters need to feign death otherwise pet wont get aggro. Bug?

BTW. lvl85 and challenger had like 75K health .. nothing special.

Questgiver seems to indicate that if you continue doing this the quest rewards get better. Can anyone confirm this or are we stuck with just 16g?

At level 85, my mage got (from turning in the quest) :

17350 Guild Experience.
43 Guild Rep
16 gold, 54 silver.

If your opponent dies from your Spell Reflect, you will NOT get credit and you'll have to wait about 3 minutes for your flag cooldown to finish. Consider yourself warned :<

How do you get the npc to appear to even give you the first quest so then you can start doing dailies? I never knew about this until a few days ago when I was flying over on my 85 mage and saw it and then I've been doing the daily for a couple days but now there is no npc there on my 85 DK. Do you have to have something completed first? I just finished the quest line that npc mweba gives you that you start from orggrimar, I forget now what the quest line is called. Thought maybe it was just phased out because I was on that quest line, but flew back after I was done with it and still don't see that npc.
