You kind of see this coming when doing the previous quest (), you get a cut scene where you discover things about the Brotherhood you did not know of back in Vanilla.

I won't spoil much but since you are reading this for help I'll throw in a bone and say ~~that VanCleefs daughter is the one leading the new Brotherhood, together with Admiral Ripsnar (a Worgen).~~

I first accepted this quest while mounted, which caused an error and although I transitioned into the phase with all the npcs, the script froze. Next I dismounted and tried again and it played almost all the way through but froze before the very last step. Finally I tried a third time and it worked. So if you're having trouble, keep trying!

This quest: Epic. All the little bits of information from previous Westfall quests are tied together in this one. This is master storytelling and I like it.

Yea, sentinel hill burns after this, but Thor, our friendly fightmaster just stands there in the flames waiting nonchalantly for you to get on a gryphon (slowly now!) to......I dunno, you could go ironforge if you felt like it.

I had to abandon it after script bugged out first time, but nonetheless...

AWESOME QUEST!

Don't want to spoil either (though I guessed it after the cool scene on the earlier mission) but as I was doing it on my main I felt really bad for her (my toon's) earlier actions, especially as the Defias were screwed over in the first place (for those who never followed the lore, they rebuilt Stormwind and then got screwed on the payment)

I accepted the quest, the marshal said "I don't like this, **********. Stay alert!" then everyone disappeared! I saw fires on the Sentinel Tower a little while later and I know it is scripted but there were no people talking there, WHAT CAN I DO TO GET ON WITH THE QUEST!

Ok, this quest is bugged as hell. And that's the cause of the phasing system. I had to try whopping 4 times before I could finally finish this. First time around, net disconnected on me, thought nothing would be to it, relog simply and finish it. Nope, every character was in the final phasing position, so I missed the dialogue and had to retry. Second try, no one unspawned, every frikin' npc had a clone( though it was funny to see that 2 Ripsnarls replied to <insert hidden spoiler name here>'s line) and after they started walking and before the last( completing) line was spoken, everyone despawned. I was annoyed quite a bit. Third time the same, and finally the 4th time it worked out.
The lesson: keep on trying and don't be hasty, after a few abandons it should work.

Here is what I did.

I went to the required location, and I abandoned the quest, and then - suddenly the NPCs showed up, and I took the quest again, and I proceeded.

For some strange reason, all of the quest rewards are "House Wrynn (Weapon)". I'm wondering if it's a reference to anything because "House Wrynn" sounds odd and is very similar to "house wren", which is a type of bird.

This is THE quest to ding your Loremaster achievement. It's perfectly positioned in quest hubs (easy to get it as your 35th Westfall quest) and you will get your Loremaster from King Wrynn himself. In SWC, where plenty of people will see it.
