The turn-in marker for this quest is incorrect. You can turn the quest in to Captain Taylor at Darkbreak Cove.

I just turned the quest in at Darkbreak Cove, I think its a bug but not sure.

I also had to turn mine in back at Darkbreak Cove. I think there's possibly a phasing issue with Promitory Point if you've happened to do the quests that lead up to the Abyssal Maw scene.

The fiends tend to go evade mode casters. Fight them in melee range to avoid that. The pathing is nuts as of release.

The entrance is at 35.19, 40.83, way down at the bottom of the Scalding Chasm's southwest end. Face the direction the questgivers are facing, and go forward and down all the way.

Had the same issue about not being able to hand the quest in where the in-game questhelper indicated...allowed me to hand it in to Legionnaire Nazgrim at Tenebrous Cavern if that helps anyone, as other comments have indicated you can hand it in at Darkbreak Cove but if you can't hand it in there try Tenebrous Cavern.

I didn't need to. Probably fixed the bug then.

If like me you do this quest after completing the quests inside L'GHOREK, Captain Taylor's back in Darkbreaker Cove.
