Okay, I'm claiming this one, at least on my realm.

There's a chest called "Abandoned Bloodwash Crate", two of them really, near the entrance to the big Naga cave (Blackwash Cavern). There is no questgiver "!" over them, but talk to them and you will get the quest.

Maybe it's one of those grass is greener type things since we have available quests displayed on the minimap...

..but I was really excited to 'discover' a quest again by interacting with the world and not just beelining towards an exclamation point on the map.

Dunno about how it works with other addons, but I use Carbonite. If you look at the quest helper window, it says click here to complete. Just click the little colored dot in front of the quest and it completes. I've other quest complete this way too.

So you have to either drag them out to sea or leave them to their fate? I'd like to adopt them, please.

If you happen to have found the crates but are unable to move them, chances are that they are the abandoned crates of someone else doing the quest. Don't worry though, the crates you are supposed to move are located at the naga cave entrance.

I found two crates stuck inside of each other right outside the cave and was unable to move either of them. =\

Nobody has mentioned that this is in fact a really touching quest!

Watching the baby murlocs float out into the Forbidding Sea, those little tadpoles the only chance of a future for the Rockpool Murlocs, really balances out the zone-wide killing spree all the other quest givers have been sending you on ^-^

This quest is not repeatable, despite what the multiple crates may lead you to believe.

To begin this quest, click on any Abandoned Rockpool Crate. You'll be dragging that crate to the Forbidden Sea, fighting interfering naga along the way. You can eject from the crate anytime to fend off the naga and continue to save the baby murlocs when the coast is clear.

Definitely one of my new favorite quests.

You can't start this quest until you've completed the two first quests given by the dead murloc chief, Neptool (Neptool)

It should be noted that if you are knocked off the chest and forced into combat, anyone can steal your crate and drag it out to sea to claim the reward. Fraction of the work for them, and all of the reward, where as you would have to go back to the cave and get the crate again, or steal it back if you can. I recommend two people do this quest in a group, one person taking care of the mobs in the way and one person dragging the crate, both of you will claim the reward, but you stand less of a chance to lose the crate to someone low enough to be waiting for you to drop it.

I was extremely frustrated when I found this out the hard way, so keep your eyes open.

You can cast spells and apply effects like Feign Death, Shadowmeld (spells that break when you move) without them actually breaking! Epic, too bad you dismount the vehicle in combat, imagine the cheat in PvP. Effects like stun, snare and similar do not affect the movement-speed either.

In essence this is like the Wintergrasp Demolisher, the passengers can cast spells without being interrupted, even when you move the vehicle around. It's the same mechanic.

Just in case this helps anyone: I took this quest from a crate right at the cave entrance and was unable to drag it anywhere. Only one rope was connecting me to it and the rope would elongate until I was out of range with the crate going nowhere. I was about to give up when I found another crate in the hills to the right as you face the cave entrance. That one worked fine.

It looks like people took the quest then tried to go into the cave, and the chests bugged out. Don't be fooled, use the one in the hills!

So really simple Peeps just open your quest log and Press "Complete Quest" then your done. Really easy quest.

Can't get this quest to complete for the life of me. I have NO quest related addons at all and I have swam ALL over the sea, so far out, very deep, allllll overrrr...and NOTHING.

There is no completed to click in the quest log or anything...this has got to be broken as of now.

I also saw no way of getting this stupid crate off of me after I was forced to abandon it.

I had the same problem with this quest being non completeable + the chest's 'leave vehicle' button not working. I dropped the quest, got hit by a naga to drop the crate, the picked up the chest and retook the quest. I was then able to complete it.

This quest is broken for me. I walked out into the sea but it didn't complete the quest. I was able to explore the sea out to the blue wall. This might be good for some exploration. In the end I abandoned the quest, but still couldn't get it off my back. I had to port myself to Dalaran to get rid of it.

I was able to complete this quest earlier this morning with no problems at all. I simply logged off, then disabled all add-on's, logged back in, turned in the quest, logged back out, re-enabled add-on's, and was done.

Frankly I couldn't help but wonder if there was maybe something wrong with these particular murlocs. The way they are so reluctant to get off that chest even when its floating in the water makes me question if they can even swim or something.

I really liked this one. It was one of those random quests that you may not find but is something very different than most quests. Was quite nice.

I was doing Archeology in this area, and, enraged at the Nagas' actions towards the poor little Murlocs, decided to pick up the quests from Neptool. as I left the cave I notice the chest - and that I could interact with it. As I got the quest, I was simply delighted. I could pull these little Murlocs to safety!

I love quests like these, they're simple but to me they mean a lot.

For those who need it, Coords for quest completion are 73.1, 70.8. (at least they were for me. You don't have to swim too far from shore, so don't worry about fatigue or drowning.
