I'm a 68 Hunter and was able to do this quest, but I didn't use the target tiki that is in the Echo Isles. I tried the trick of Res Sickness and it still didn't help. Instead, I travelled to the Valley of Trials and used the 3 different Target Dummies that I found there. I still had the res sickness when I did this though and was stripped down to nothing; using only the bow I had gotten as a reward from the Valley of Trials earlier. Hope this helps!

I can confirm the way Thocide is mentioning above.

You can 'practice' Steady Shot in Valley of Trials on the Training Dummy's there. The do count your practicing while the ones on Echo Isles don't count you Steady Shot tries. You can go there without unequipping your armor or having ressurection sickness. Just shoot Steady Shot 5 times on the targets in Valley of Trials. That's all you need to do.

Confirmed that Valley of trials works with everything at level 80, on a side note, the target dummies in Ogrimmar do not.

This is an impossible quest to do on lvl 80. I tried to do it on my hunter but it would not register

What do you mean, now that it's gone? Valley of Trials is still there; I just completed this quest as a lvl 70 using the practice dummies there.

I don't understand why all you high level hunters are just now doing this quest. I'm a level 2 and just got it. It seems bugged though because it's not registering my target kills.

[I tink I have something I can show ya. It's pretty simple really, but it should help.

We've all manner of trick shots we can be usin' wit bows or guns, but witout a steady hand between dose shots, ya gonna find yaself exhausted and not really managin' to kill much. Take ya time, steady ya bow, and keep the shots pourin' into ya target. Keep'm off-balance.
