If a Fallen Hero's Spirit has already been converted by a Scourge Converter, you will not be able to free it. However, if you can stop a converter from finishing its cast of Grip of the Scourge or use your Light-Blessed Relic before the cast completes, you'll be successful.

You can, however, use the relic on spirits you have aggroed. It also seems to drop combat faster if I pre-aggro them first, but that's probably just a fluke.

Head to Icecrown and look for the shiny blue discarded soul crystals on the floor in the same location as Fallen Hero's Spirit (50,41ish as rooter mentions). You will need one crystal for every fallen hero you are to bless with peace (6).

The Fallen Heros are all neutral (yellow) so will not attack you unless you first attack them. Once you have collected a crystal left click on a fallen hero (so you don't initiate an attack) and when you are in range, click on the Light-Blessed Relic. Hey presto, you have brought peace to the fallen. Well done you!

You can only bring peace to those fallen that haven't been converted. Converted spirits have what look like a black X across their back and chest and are usually running south. These too are yellow so shouldn't present a problem. You should only get aggro from the Scourge Converters in the region.

Anyone have an idea why I can't get this quest on my druid? Only thing I can think of is my Argent Dawn rep isn't exalted.

in order to get this quest you need to complete Exalted Argent Champion of the Alliance.
in order to get the silver covenants quests, you need to complete A Silver Confidant.

there is no fast way of getting there. do your 4 valiants and 4 champions quests each day and eventually you will reach the reputation needed.

each of these quests grants you 1 champions seal, making it 14 overall, plus 5 from the older quests and the ones dropping in the instance.

These guys have a nasty habit of running around aimlessly before wandering right into a scourge converter, so apparently they're not huge fans of being saved from a life of mindlessness as a scourge. Just watch out for their stupidity as they initially start walking around, then run for no apparent reason.

And just a heads up, you'll be in combat for the four seconds while their spirit is being "cleansed" or whatever you wanna call it.

Quest giver is located in the Argent Tent, besides the blood elf who gave you the entire chain involving the Black Knight and solving the mystery of his.

The heroes have multiple models:
Night Elf Druid.
Undead High Elf / Blood Elf Dark Ranger.
Human Warrior.
Blood Elf Mage.

When blessed, the heroes say things such as:

Fallen Hero's Spirit says: It was awful.. I dreamt I was fighting against my friends.

Fallen Hero's Spirit says: At last... now I can rest.

Fallen Hero's Spirit says: I can't hear the screams anymore. Is this the end?

Fallen Hero's Spirit says: I'm so tired. Just let me rest for a moment.

Fallen Hero's Spirit says: My nightmare, is it finally over?

As an Undead, I loved this quest because it fit my character's personality / story perfectly. My character is a kind and compassionate soul, and he wants to either cure undeath or release those afflicted (Forsaken excluded, he wants to cure them). Finally, a quest where my character is doing something that isn't against his code.

As of patch 3.3, blessing the fallen spirits no longer puts you in combat for a short time.

It attempts to use each daily quest item with every press, meaning you never have to bind/click them again! =)

If you're like me, you will probably want to put your fist through your monitor after doing this quest 10 or 20 or 30 times due to the fact that the crystals are so @#$@!*# small that it takes you three attempts each time before you finally right-click on the correct spot to pick the blasted thing up!

Descrizione

The Argent Crusade is hardly the first force to challenge the Lich King. Our enemy turns spirits of the fallen against us.

Their spirits wander the Valley of Fallen Heroes, southwest of the grounds and between Aldur'thar and the Ironwall Rampart. The area is littered with discarded soul crystals, used by the Scourge to control the spirits. Gather those soul crystals and use them with this Light-blessed relic to bestow the blessing of peace upon the spirits. They have more than earned their rest.
