Easily done as a Holy pally with a hunter. Just watch out for the bombardier's when they start showing up. The bombs they throw explode for more dmg then the boss puts out. plus he's a wuss. Died very quickly

Fairly easy on a protection paladin. Keep Holy Shield up, use Frost Resist Aura if you need it. Nuke down Chillmaw before dealing with adds for a faster more hectic fight, or take each add as it spawns for a slower steadier approach. Either way is pretty simple.

Was barely able to solo as a death knight. I just attacked Chillmaw as normal, when the second bombardier got off, I popped AotD, still tanking Chillmaw, using death strike to keep my health up. Used one pot. AotD nuked down the bombardiers and kill the last one, then I finished off Chillmaw/

This quest is a total failure, it is in total conflict with the concept of a daily quest.

Some what easy to solo as a Blood/Unholy Death Knight. Have your ghoul attack while you pop Army of the Dead. Once you do that just focus on Chillmaw until dead. After it is dead, clean up the rest.

Found out that he's just a big wuss. solo him now. And I am a holy pally. Just run around him in circle's stopping to heal and making sure sacred shield is still up. but best way is to kill the dudes that jump off first before going back to attacking Chill.

Soloable as a retribution paladin. DPS on Chillmaw, until first add pops up. Repentance on the first mob, dps Chillmaw down before killing the two additional adds that pop up. Repentanced add shouldn't break until well after everything is killed.

Note: You will NEED to bubble. I keep Lay on Hands up as well for this fight; had to use it on almost all occasions except once.

Solo'd as a Blood Death Knight, in tank gear. Nothing impressive, some of my gear isn't even ilvl 200.

A few pointers:

- Frost Presence.
- Abuse the adds to refresh diseases on Chillmaw, using Pestilence. Use Blood runes to refresh diseases, because you need the Frost and Unholy runes for Death Strikes.
- When Chillmaw starts casting the Breath, pop up Anti-Magic Shield.
- Be mobile - Timed bombs hurt.
- Prioritise Death Strikes.
- Use Rune Tap on every cooldown.

They'll go down sooner or later. Empower Rune Weapon also helps when your HP is short.

Soloed as paladin everyday, Gear level 213, RET spec, 3500AP, 20kHP.

Just keep Seal of Light, pull, Avenging Wrath at the beginning, and Full dps with judgement of lights, keep moving, dps, no need to CC, bubble or lay.

VERY easy. I kill him and im still full HP.

Soloed as Combat Rogue in 237 average ilvl

Start SS, expose armor.

Blow all cooldowns, evasion, adren, blade flurry, killing spree, and burst down.

Vanish and heal up before taking adds if necessary, usually not.

Finished at 57% this attempt, remember to move away from mines.

I've been solo'ing it for awhile, but since I didn't see any comment about how to solo as a Shadow Priest, I thought I'd post one:

Start off by putting on all your dots on Chillmaw and continue to DPS for awhile or for however long you want, then cast Shadowfiend and hit Fade, all the mobs will start to attack the Shadowfiend, so if you aren't really geared it might be best to shield your Shadowfiend to give yourself some more time to DPS... otherwise just continue to DPS down Chillmaw as he should die before your Shadowfiend dies. then after DPS down the Cultists one by one(fear them if need be).

This quest shares it's name with one in Shattrath City (Minaccia dall'alto). Also there are 2 NPCs that hand this one out for both Horde and Ally, totaling 4 of the same quest. Hope this clears any confusion. :)

Descrizione

The Argent Crusade has doubled the guard since your exposure of the Cult of the Damned's infiltrator. They know the cultists won't stop until they've destroyed this area and thwarted the tournament.

The Argent Crusade's scouts have reported sighting a frost wyrm named Chillmaw leading a cult raiding party.

You must intercept and destroy them before they attack. The scouts reporting seeing Chillmaw to the southwest, flying over the area between the Ironwall Rampart and Aldur'thar.
