Theres a chance for an Everfrost Chip to drop from Everfrost Chip's laying around on the ground throughtout Storm Peaks. Turning in this Quest the first time gives 350 reputation with Sons of Hodir. Then you get the repeatable quest Remember Everfrost! to raise your reputation 350 each turn in.

Will this quest work similarly to the Obsidian Warbeads in for Mag'Har rep? i.e. - if we have more than one chip to turn in in one day, can we turn in more than one? Or are we limited to one per day?

It may be worthwhile to note that you must first find the Everfrost Chip in order to begin the Everfrost quest.

It is quite worthless now, because since patch 3.0.8 you can grind rep with Hodir's Tribute and this is also a quest you can do many times a day.
Quest rewards 275 rep for human, so I quess its 250 for other classes.
Relic's of Ulduar are easy to grind and you can trade/sell these too, so it is possible to find these from AH too.

- Although it is nice to find one of these at level 80, since the first return gives you free money (12g 84s as mentioned in quest info).
So if you happen to find one of these, keep it until you get 80 and don't go looking for them just for rep, saves your time and nerves.

Although the item that starts this quest is hard to find, it counts towards the Storm Peaks quests achievement.

FYI .. you need to be "FRIENDLY" before obtaining this quest. Otherwise, you will only loot dust.

This is just to give an idea, now that I am almost exalted with Sons of Hodir, I wont rush to right click on this item, and actually have a chance to write down cords.

This is a approximate idea of where the Chips appeared since most of them I did not see, but remembered where they were found on numeous occasions.

74.0, 54.3 This is on the mountain tops in between Fjorn's Anvil and Thunderfall, more on Thunderfall's side.

62.6, 60.9 This chip is found as soon as you land on the Sons of Hodir's flight path on the same platform to the left of when you land. This will most likely not be found immediately on your travels, since it is so close to the landing site, dont expect to always find this one.

60.7, 57.7 This is on ground lvl near Dun Niffelem, you will see a tiny camp which is the path to go up to Bran's Base Camp.

These are only 3 of the many locations I'm sure are out there, I just had time to write these 3 down.

It's not a guaranteed find btw, so dont expect them to always be there ready for the picking.

Found a 4th one.
68.6, 63.9 This chip is on a mound at ground lvl, behind Dun Niffelhem.

Found one at 67.1 62.1 in Dun Niffelem on the level with Arngrim (the frozen dude sitting on a throne who gives the Feeding Arngrim daily), about 40 yards or so to *his* left.

Edit: another one at 68 62.5 ground level on the frozen lake side of Dun Niffelem, behind some trees.

This quest now gives 455 Rep as of patch 3.3, instead of 350

If you have the gathermate addon you can farm for them. I just did a circuit round the area they can be found, picked up 6, and on top of getting 2730 rep, made 39G. It's stupid not to look for them if you're a herbalist or miner, because you've got a good excuse to be going round the area anyway.

This piece of ice has been submitted to immense pressures and exposed to natural magics from deep beneath the world's surface. In combination, these effects have yielded an ice that will never melt.

Knowing little of these things, you resolve to bring the sample back to Dun Niffelem. Someone there is bound to be familiar with its properties.
