I've done this quest at 71 lvl but is was availavle at 70-th.

It's doable at 71, at the very least. The quest is self-explanatory, save for the fact that you're given the platter at the start (I must have missed it drop into my inventory), and that's what you use to combine the 6 half-empty wine glasses and the cheese. I mistook it for a low level shield as they have the same icon. /bonk

Limburger is in "One More Glass" cheese shop in Dalaran. (54,31)
Half Full Dalaran Wine Glass' can be found in "Filthy Animal Tavern" where you take the quest.
Hand in the quest to Ranid Glowergold(36,27) in Dalaran.

I am level 72 and picked up and finished this quest just fine. I think Grand Master cooking is required.

The quest description for the location of the wine glasses is quite poor.

The glasses do not spawn anywhere in the city, they only spawn in a few locations - Legerdemain Lounge, Cheese Shop ("One More Glass") and the Inns.

The glasses can also spawn anywhere in these locations, not just tables - I found one on the floor. Another had spawned inside another object, so was invisible other than the sparkles it gave off.

Even though this quest does not require you to cook anything at all, you still need to be a Grand Master Cook to do this quest (350 skill).

This is by far the easiest of the cooking dailies, as it requires no mats that you can't get in Dalaran City.

A few things bug me about this quest.
A. you are running around stealing glasses of wine, which have probably already been half drunk by someone else and/or been sitting there for days.
B. You are also stealing a large block of cheese right infront of the vendor for free.
C. You are then giving it to the leatherworking person, who is then eating something made of stolen, contaminated stuff. (Just my opinion)

Seems like a quest that is mostly stealing, unless the Kirin Tor don't care about it ;p

this quest is buggin out on me a bit... although it never has before when i've done it.

i managed to get 3 of the glasses of wine before i went into a wintergrasp... upon porting out of WG to violet hold, the quest items (cheese, wine) no longer have the little quest sparkles on them and i can't interact with them.

tried abandoning and reaccepting, but didn't work. hmmm... anyone else experience this?

Been doing the cooking daily quests for around 2 weeks now and i havent seen this one come up. Is it rarer than any of the others? or am i just unlucky?

'Limburger' is actually an inhabitant of Limburg, district in Netherland/Belgium and they are sometimes called 'Cheesheads'. I never called them that way, so no offence guys ^^

There is in fact a little refrence :) From monty python "the cheese shop sketch" where john cleese says he's quite peckish! As ranid glowergold says aswell :)

word of advice here folks if your like me and question why on earth there are so many wine glasses everywhere but only a select few can be taken... its but just this one simple fact.... they're half EMPTY... k?

The easiest way to do this quest, for me, was to:

Go into "One More Glass" and pick up the Limburger and a few glasses, also check out the girl outside and upstairs.
Across the street is "The Legerdemain Lounge" go inside and pick up glasses found on the tables and the bar. Go upstairs and pick up a few glasses there.

If you need more, go to "The Filthy Animal" and turn in the quest after you have what you need.

remember the movie 'Caddy Shack' ? when the kid at the party was drinking the leftover booze in the glasses and then he swallows a cigarette butt and pukes into the convertible ? this quest reminded me of that! har har! typical trolls, filthy animals.
ps i was really drinking cheap boxed wine when i did this quest. ( and no i'm not gonna tell you what to do.)
