Rageclaw Den (loc 33,82) - about 30 seconds walk south east of Lights breach.

Make sure you have the quest "Trolls Is Gone Crazy!" as they share the same location.

Many huts around the area are on fire and facing one of the fires and using the Extinguisher(which in beta, looks like a plugged globe, half-filled with blue liquid) in your inventor between 3 and 5 times on the same fire in quick succession, will put out that 1 fire.

This quest can be done with others but not in a raid group.

Putting out a fire triggers Spirit Tap in Shadow Priests, which makes this quest a great filler in between mobs for other quests in the area.

Make sure you're standing very close to the huts that you douse. I was standing kind of far away at first and wasn't getting credit, until I moved closer.

On some hut's you'll have to use the Rageclaw Fire Extinguisher multiple times before you get a "Hut Fire Doused" message.

Fortunately the extinguisher doesn't have a global cooldown (or it has a VERY short one) so you can spam it quickly. Just wait for the complete message before you move on to the next hut.

Running around spamming this item, didn't even have to stop to use it, nor even be close to the huts, it even "shot" through a hill to extinguish a hut. Fun quest for the easily amused like me.

Apparently, Blood speced death knights with Vendetta Gains additional 2-6% health regeneration upon dousing the fires since you practically Kill the fire in a some sort way, Fact. So this might be a good opportunity to pull a larger group and just douse the fires as you go since the bottle is a instant cast and about 0.5 sec cooldown, Cooooooool

If you look closely, each use of the extinguisher shrinks the flame a little bit. The extinguisher also snaps to the closest target so you can find a hut with multiple fires and just spam the button.

Edit/Add: The quest name may be a reference to Sim City games, "This just in: fire still hot" was a fake news story, I think.

Shadow priests: each time you extinguish a fire, you will gain spirit tap. It's nice :) You can work a rotation between all out DPS and doing fires and keep the double spirit going

HUNTER'S SHOULD KEEP THE REWARD ITEM!

I was on my hunter completing the quest "The Drakkensryd". And was forced into melee range to kill anything. Don't bother attacking them when you have only 1 weapon skill trained, use The Fire Extinguisher instead.

If you already done "Trolls Is Gone Crazy!" you won't see any hut on fire still you can use the item on any hut to make the quest done

This is one of the most irritating and hard to complete quests I have done as a 75-76 clothie mage.

When you leave the questgiver and head toward the village where the huts are burning, you might notice a group of Rageclaws (good guys) to your right. These guys are fighting a constant stream of Drakuru coming from the village.

These guys are important to the quest in that if you get in trouble in the village (as soon as you douse a fire you are almost always attacked) you may be able to drag your attacker to these guys, who will quickly be all over him.

On the other hand, you really have to watch out for the mobs that leave the village and head toward these guys as they will quickly agro on you, even if you are not close to them. Agro was the biggest problem for me in this quest. As I was typing this I was standing about half way between the village and the questgiver and still got attacked by a Drakuru.

Another aspect of this quest that was very annoying was that once you got to the site of a fire (not so easy for a 75 clothie) and got attacked, the fire was out by the time the mob was dead. I did this quest on a couple of alts pre-Cata and found that it is currently much more difficult because, to put it simply, the mobs just won't leave you alone long enough to get the job done. I guess I got killed 10-12 times and was frequently mobbed after rezzing before I completed this quest and by that time I was a lvl 76.

Another irritating feature of this quest was the fact that sometimes I put a fire out and did not get credit for it. I found that if I threw a couple more buckets on it, even though no flames were visible, I got credit. If that wasn't irritating enough, the fires are not constantly in one place. You might head toward a fire and find that it is out before you get there.

The method I used to finally complete the quest was to fly over the village looking for fires that did not appear to have have mobs nearby. I swooped down, used the fire extinguisher and got out. Even this did not work all the time because of the long agro distance that the mobs operate under. In my opinion Blizzard has made this quest way too difficult and needs to tone down the agro of all those mobs.

BTW, if you want to level by grinding mobs in a fashion similar to the never-ending mobs that attack Valgarde in Howling Fjord, this is the place! The 74-75 lvl mobs never stop coming and the Rageclaws will help you!

Weird quest, i was about say its not working but once i spam clicked the "Rageclaw fire extinguisher" next to a fire it worked, you cant just click it once or you wont get credit for putting the fire out.

Yes, you'll def. need to spam the quest item a few times if you want to get credit for each fire!

I just roamed around 34,83 and put out the fires as they came up. You don't need anything more than that. You can see them very easily and the liquid sprays pretty far. It takes from 1-5 splashes to put one out.
