This tour is a great way of discovering most of Zul'Drak if you haven't already. I got approx. an extra 25k experience from going afk while I was flown around the zone.

Also to note, you don't have to blow the horn to summon Stefan to your location - I read the quest after leaving the tower, and was able to just return to Ebon Watch to finish the quest.

It seems that if you have done the Cleansing Drak'Tharon chain in Grizzly Hills you get the Reunited quest instead of this one.

Hehe, I did this quest without exploring too much of the zone and when it took me on the tour of Zul'Drak it gave me all the XP for exploring the zones. Managed to discover 13 new zones on this scripted event and the entire quest gave me roughly around 50,000 XP. Not too shabby I would say for a scripted quest!

Unlike alot of quests that take you on fly around tours this one actually gives you exploration XP which is a nice boost for your leveling/achievement

just talk and ask or you can go on the tour

discovert 11 new places wich all are worth 2100XP (or around that)

well worth doing this quest!

+ 20k XP quest reward + u finish the other quest to do his task wich also is 20k exp :-) = 50k exp for this quest

Keeping track of the exploration experience as well as the turn-in. This quest will net you 48,450xp (assuming you haven't already explored portions of the map that are on the tour).

Not bad for 90 seconds of afk time.

this quest is currently bugged for me on the US Lightning's Blade realm. This is the second time my character has been disconnected as I'm landing from the tour, and I can't access my character. WoW disconnects on loading screen. I don't know if it would apply to anyone else, but just giving a heads up incase it is messing up on other realms as well. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Cenarius-US, this quest worked fine for me as well. I had some problems with addons causing DCs as I was logging in recently (around 11/24/08).

Whenever somethign like this happens, I would recommend instead that you copy your WTF and Interface>Addons folder and placing that copy someplace else before deleting the previous folders. If you have personal settings like screen resolution or addon info, this will give you the chance to save it if the addons and WTF folders weren't the problems.

Keep in mind that you have to take the teleporter to get to Gorebag who is up in Voltarus and out on the ledge with all the gargoyles.

I abandoned this quest, and now he's not giving it to me, any clue why?

Edit: Found out why.. I had also deleted Infiltrating Voltarus, and you need to have that quest to accept this quest.

If you talk to him expecting to fly off but don't, try moving a little closer.

Evidently, he can only put you on a mount from a shorter distance than one would expect.

This quest correspons to Drakuru's other quest Reunited. The difference is that this quest is what you get when you haven't done Drakuru's other quest line in Grizzly Hills. If you have done them, you get Reunited instead.

Feel free to remove your disguise as the mount carries you around if you want to pretend you've been abducted by a gargoyle. You get put down someplace safe (or at least nothing was there when I did it).

I think it's been fixed now. I just tried it and it didn't work. I was able to repeat the quest and turn it in to Drakuru, but got no XP or gold.

Note: If you started the quest chain from the Orders of Drakuru up to where you start Infiltrating Voltarus, and THEN do the Grizzly Hills chain, you will not get Reunited, but instead this one.

I accidentally took the teleporter back down to ground level and now it won't let me back up. Seems to be bugged.

Edit: after relogging it allowed me to teleport back up

i got bugged in the part when u should talk to Gorebag...
when i talk to him nothing happend !
so simply hide then remove the disguise and put it again and that should fix it
hope its helpful.

if you are a hunter, you should dismiss your pet otherwise you cant mount up.

Gorebag is in the wing to the left of Drakuru (when facing him). You get XP for exploration while flying. Great quest, do not skip. Easy experience

Earned 27500 experience as the only parts I had discovered were these, after the flight this is how the map looked -so only Zim'Torga, Altar of Sseratus and Kolramas that it does not discover for you automatically during the flight, not too bad to be honest.

After you land Overlord Drakuru had a deathmatch with Shalewing, not sure what that was about...

Please don't make the stupid mistake I did. Knowing about this quest I went directly to complete with Gorebag so of course he didn't give it to me and just muttered mmmphpmmp. So yeah make sure you collect the quest first, which yes does seem obvious, but the helpful arrow that wow gave me meant I didn't even see the quest giver.

To clarify, you must accept this quest from Overlord Drakuru who is to the south-west of Gorebag and THEN talk to him to get the tour.

What was great about this was that you actually get the experience and credit for exploring the areas you fly over!

Just a start-to-finish overview:
You've gotten the quest from Overlord Drakuru;
Turn right as you leave his spot;
Follow the circular hall until you reach the next alcove/niche that opens to the right - there are gargoyles/Winged Fiends hovering there;
Gorebag is hunched on the floor - he is not identified by any quest mark at all;
Talk to him like you do any other NPC and he'll have a speech bubble for you to click to take the tour;
As some of the earlier comments mention:
You may need to be closer to him than to other NPCs - the first time I clicked on him - I got nothing.

Gorebag is on the same level as Drakaru, in the open-air terrance on the southeastern edge.

He looks like one of the geists, and his coordinates are 29.8, 48.8.

Talk to him and he puts you on a gargoyle mount for a flying tour.

Gorebag is a geist in Voltarus next to the open ledge with all the gargoyles.
He will set you up with a gargoyle ride through Zul'Drak to see Gundrak.

ok this is what no-one has told anyone first u must put on disguise again go to portal in the middle of the square then u go and c the main bloke cant remember his name but he has a yellow mark over his head then u find gorebag just follow the silver arrow on mini map this is all true i have just finished it as i am typing
