You can find it in the middle boat (the one that looks like a typical Alliance boat) in the captain's quarters. There are a lot of Venture Company people in there, so be wary. Also, once you pick up the item, you cannot gain any speed enhancing effects (similar to the stuff in Silithus), but you can still fly if you have a flying mount... just very slowly :P.

Pretty sure this is a reference to the old PC game Xcom, in that game you needed an element called elirium 115 to go into space

For druids doing this quest, I found that I could jump into the water and use Aquatic form and get a speed boost. However, when I exited the water, I lost the Element 15 and had to go pick it back up.

So just stick to one form.

It doesn't glitter like most items you can pick up do. You will see the mouse icon change, though.

I have a great strategy for Alliance hunters who are engineers.

Basically what I did is go to the Alliance boat that is right next to the Venture Co. boat. Then I used Nitro Boosts, ran and jumped from the banister on the from of the Alliance boat toward the opening on the lower level of the Venture Co. boat. Just being shot off the side of the boat, I jumped and used a parachute. When I landed, I still had a little bit of boost left, so I ran to the very back of the ship and used Feign Death. Called my pet and killed the dude at the back and picked up the Element 115. Sent my pet to attack the person standing on the deck outside and chased him. Ran up the stairs to the second level of the deck and Disengaged to the Alliance boat's steps. Then I used FD again and waited for them to kill my pet. (Probably a better choice to Dismiss him if your pet lasts a long time like mine. You might want to turn off cower.)

There currently seems to be a glitch with the mobs in the room just before the room with the solvent. They'll continually respawn as soon as the previous one dies. I did this earlier tonight and I believe I counted 6 respawns before I could go in and grab the solvent. Pretty annoying, to say the least.

16.4, 80.3. 2nd ship on the dock from the quest giver. Lots of Mobs ... gotta be quick to get it back to Barblefink.

Gah! Not again. Another blown gasket....

Every time one of these goes, lubricant gums up all of the gears. Without solvent, it takes hours to clean.

Tell ya what, <race>. There's some fancy rocket fuel on the Venture Company barge in the dock there - element 115 I think they call it. That stuff makes for a great solvent.

Get me one of those and I'll make it worth your trouble.
