Part 1 (Into Grizzly Hills, making friends)

Local Support (Collect Cedar Chest (in a house guarded by 3 hordes))
Close the Deal (Simply go to Ivan)
A Tentative Pact (Simply go back to Lieutenant Dumont)
An Exercise in Diplomacy (Yet another go-to quest. Go to Envoy Ducal)

Part 2 (Helping the northern locals)

I'd like to add that in order for this quest to complete correctly, one must have at least one free slot open in his inventory when he kills Sergeant Bonesnap. It seems that some item swapping has to happen before the quest can complete.

He is on an incredibly long respawn timer. Ten minutes and counting as I type this.

For rogues, if you sap the marauder and try to single out Sergeant Bonesnap the girl will attack, and basically hold agro while you take out Bonesnap, so no worries. Also, in 3.1 the respawn is less then 2-3 mins now.

I just finished this quest, he respawned almost instantly. Didn't even have time to finish the contact with the 'girl'.

this qeust doesnt work for me i kill the orc the giral sais stop... then nothing happens and sometime later the orc spwns again how fun

Downgrade this all you want, but I just wanted my piece known. (This is for those who play on PvE servers) If you are playing as a priest and decide to MC one of the two orcs at the camp, do it on Sergeant Bonesnap. I mc'd the guard next to Sgt. Bonesnap and I got flagged.

The very text from this quest should tell you something strange is going on. You CAN'T skin humanoids! Much less actually wear it, ala 'Buffalo Bill' from Silence of the Lambs.

It's true that you don't need to do anything except kill Sergeant Bonesnap, but if you click on his corpse and attempt to use the quest item, then this will happen. (I just found this interesting)

Captured Trapper says: Stop! Put that knife away. You don't have to do... whatever they sent you to do. You're not like them yet!

I also wanted to add that you do not have to use the scalping tool to complete the quest...He will tell you to put the knife away...Then the quest is done...

Umm actually ... I'm a Worgen Death Knight, so yeah, I kinda AM like them....

From a lore perspective this whole quest chain was kinda odd/funny running it on a Worgen.

22,30 - has one guard with him. Quest is turned in to the npc they are guarding. shouldn't be a problem for anyone to manage.
