You need to kill Entropic Ooze for the slime in and around either the Heart, Limb, or Tears of Vodrassill.

You do not gather the ooze from the area around Grizzlemaw!

I did this quest while doing . I just killed the Oozes on my way into the cave. Pretty nice way to save time !

Part 1 (Into Grizzly Hills, making friends)

Make sure you do this quest with the sound/music on...there's some nice music that plays when you're in the tree caverns.

You get these by killing the Entropic Oozes around Vordrassil's heart, limb and tears.

Confirmed. Kill Entropic Ooze at 38,52 and north. For those without coords, its NE out of Amberpine Lodge around Vordrassil Heart (just like previous poster said).

Hierophant Thayreen at Amberpine Lodge wants you to go to Vordrassil's Limb, Vordrassil's Heart or Vordrassil's Tears and obtain 6 Slime Samples from the Entropic Oozes.

My ancestors once planted a tree in the middle of the Grizzly Hills.

It was called Vordrassil and it was to become a world tree.

For reasons long forgotten, after the tree was fully grown, they decided it needed to be destroyed. Its giant trunk splintered at three locations in the area to the north.

Where the tree touched the ground, foul ooze began to crawl the earth. Bring me slime samples so I can begin my work and the earth can be healed.
