You have to kill Captain Emmy Malin at 26,65 to obtain the Ley Line Focus Control Ring and use it on the giant arch there.

The letter Captain Emmy Malin drops is for Alliance only. It contains a first hand testimony that she was forced to serve Malygos under a death threat to the rest of her family, but was trying to sabotage the Blue Dragonflight from within.

Pretty sad. :(

For those without Cartographer or any navigation add-on and you need to know where Captain Emmy Malin is...just go to where the Ley Line Focus is (the big steel ring) and she'll be on the North side of it. If you attack any of the mages around her, she'll be shouting to prevent you from accessing the Ley Line Focus.

The Image of Archmage Aethas Sunreaver <Kirin Tor> offers a portal to Dalaran. It's one of those quests I am thinking of delaying turning in to keep portal.

EDIT: The portal is no longer avaliable after returning from Dalaran.

I'm having the same problem with the Captain not dropping the ring.

You have to kill Captain Emmy Malin at 26,65 to obtain the Ley Line Focus Control Ring and use it ONLY on the giant arch there, NOT the arch further to the east. That's the next quest.

Obtain the Ley Line Focus Control Ring and use it to gain information from the Ley Line Focus on the Glittering Strand.

Then, return to the Image of Archmage Aethas Sunreaver at Agmar's Hammer.

Descrizione

The mage hunter forces are active on the Glittering Strand to the south of Moonrest Gardens. My guess is that you'll find a heavily guarded focus on the beach and a captain who is in charge of it.

No doubt the captain of the force down there will have some sort of controlling device on their person. Get the controller and use it on the focus.

With any skill on your part, we'll be able to get some more information about what they're really up to out there.
