There seems to be no teleporter anymore, just use the item close to the needle.

Do NOT die on top of the platform or you will have to spirit rez. There is NO way to get your body back if you die up there. If you decide to fight the mobs up there and are about to die - jump off!

In the quest text the NPC mentions the "Arcanomicron." This is a reference to the Necronomicon, a fictional text from the mind of H. P. Lovecraft. This book of dark magic & summons was also integral to the plot of Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead series starring Bruce Campbell. This series has been referenced, as well as H. P. Lovecraft, throughout the game time & again.

Just as in real life, there is believed to be no such book in-game. However, there is apparently a map showing ley line intersections per the text in this quest.

If you have the flying mount fly to the top and you'll notice it wont let u fly down onto the platform so just fly down as low as u can get (about 20 feet off the ground) and stand there in the center of the platform and quest will complete

From a psychedelic aesthetic point of view the top of the platform scores very high, with all that delft blue oriented projection stuff. Things. Wow man.

Once you use the device to teleport to the top of the Surge needle platform, you do not need to kill or fight the mobs there. Simply move forward a bit until it registers as complete, then use the device to teleport back down, or just fly off!

Descrizione

This is a teleportation device. If I had to guess, I'd say that it leads to the surge needle platform floating above the Moonrest Gardens to the west.

I need you to use it to investigate what's up there. It appears that the device works both ways so you shouldn't have to jump off.

I expect that once you teleport to the top of the surge needle, there will be some sort of apparatus on it to observe.

You should be able to use the teleporter from anywhere within the gardens.
