Move to the east...towards (93.48, 35.84) then pass to the next zone (Dragonblight). Now move to (10.17, 53,93) and quest Complete!

You can easily mount up on this quest, as you will get 1 evacuee following you on foot but he can run as fast as your mount can.

Make sure you stop a few times when he kneels down and aches about the idea of leaving his land.

This is the introduction quest to Dragonblight.

Ran into a problem with this quest. Ran to the bridges, the evacuee pointed northeast, so I headed to the refugee camp. Without paying attention, I hadn't noticed the evacuee had totally stopped, and lost them, and had to redo the quest. Take care, it's easy to miss the evacuee stopping!

You don't really need to do this quest to grab the quest given by Emissary Brighthoof in this quest series, at least I didn't because when I got there and accepted the follow up it said that I already had completed that quest, and when I looked it up here on wowhead I had already done the follow ups.

But hey, it's still worth the 20k exp and the reputation gained.

Just as a note - The quest says you have to defend "your caravan and get the evacuees to safety" but in reality its just one evacuee who follows you around. No caravan or others. I waited for a while for them to show up...

important: when then evacuee points northeast, you have reached the "quest completed" point. but you have to stand near him to achieve it, had to do it twice because of that.

To follow on what wlfbck has said:

Accept the quest, follow the road East with your escort. I found the easiest way to keep track when it stops is to use my ground mount. The escort stops from time to time to cry about dead bodies etc. make sure you wait till the emote is finished before moving on, you might go out of range and have to get a new escort.

When the escort emotes: "Taunka'le Evacuee points northeast." STOP! where you are and wait.

The escort will do some talking and then ask you to follow it. The quest will complete. You do not need to actually follow it though.

U just have to fly/ride/run to the point but ur follower will stop every once and a while and there u have to stop or else u have to start all over again, after that go to the bridges at the east (dont have the cords sry) at the first bridge she will stop where u also will have to stop when she is finally done go to the second and wait there until she says something about some follow me ^&*! and then go and complete the quest

*NOTE* you do not have to follow her u can just go up to where u deliver ur Q

My computer disconnected me when I first did this. When I logged on again, my evacuee was gone. I had to fly back and reaccept the quest. At the time I still had the escort timer on...even after I dropped the quest. But when I grabbed it again, the timer reset then promptly vanished entirely. When I tried to speak to her again to find out why, I got this dialogue.

"What happened, -name-? Where is the evacuee that I entrusted you with?"
The speech bubble you can click on to respond, reads as follows.
"I regret to inform you that the evacuee I was charged with escorting is no more. Would you please allow me to escort another evacuee? I won't fail you again!"

Quest starts at quest giver. Wait for your evacuee to be assigned. He/she will stop and start, but will eventually get to the bridges. Then he/she will take off to the left uphill. There is a village there. Turn in quest, done.

Fairly simple quest. Just follow the road east. You can do the quest mounted and she does stop a couple of times.

Got the "complete" note but then no NPC is where the turn in is. Can't complete it...

Edit: abandoned and redid it again. the dude was there but despawned as i ran up to him. wth

You can do this on a 280% flying mount. Just don't fly too far off the ground and keep an eye out for her RP. She'll tell you things like she's tired or to stop to catch her breath. You have to stop, get on ground level and wait for her to finish her theatrics. You have reached the end when the RP says she points to the Northeast. Then she runs off to the bridge and it completes. The turn in NPC is further up to your left beside the waterfall, looking at you from a cliff

Just adding a little bit here...

As a druid, I attempted to complete this quest a couple times in flight form and was unable to complete the quest regardless of how close I was to the refugee. Only after I changed to travel form and hugged the refugee was I able to complete the quest. It appears you may need to be on the ground for the last part of the quest (I changed to travel form just before the bridge) to trigger and complete the quest.

The path across Transborea, to the east, is the only way to reach the Dragonblight. Many perils await you as you make your journey across the tundra. Beware the Scourge and its influence upon the beasts of the land. Rumors have started to spread about our very own taunka brothers and sisters rising from the dead and attacking caravans on their way to the Dragonblight! Defend your caravan and get the evacuees to safety!

Wartook Iceborn waits for you across the bridge leading into the Dragonblight.
