Blizzard listened to our plee and gave us tanking items as quest rewards. As such this quests rewards were changed into blue items.

To clarify - you need to be on the eastern edge of the platform - the one that's looking at the arcane abyss.

You must go into Nexus and kill the 2nd boss to the east behind him you will se a big blue portal that is sucking things in.... stand behind where the boss spawns and place the item there

If your group disband at the boss you can just walk at the side to you stand behind the boss and use Interdimensional Refabricator..

Easy way to complete it xD Hope you can use it!

Successully soloed as a level 74 NE Hunter. Getting to the platforms isnt too hard, just place your pet far from the hall that the dragonkin pats down, misdirect it to your pet and run past them, then Feign Death when you are over the other side. Once at the platforms, youll have to misdirect each one of the mobs, since you have to actually hit them for them to go to your pet. I'd reccommend making sure the melee ones are going to your pet first as they will cause the most problems.

When at the platform where there are 3 dragonkin fighting with a chaotic rift, as soon as they have killed one of the mobs whch spawns out of it misdirect them to your pet which should be standing on the bridge and jump down to the little nook uder it and feign. When I did it, there was a Crazed Mana-Wraith right there, but luckly doesnt pull with the rest of his group at the edge of the bridge from the platform I just jumped off. from there, to your left there is a little hill like rock. I was able to get past the group without getting aggro but if you do, just feign right next to the hill, but dont get too close as there is a chaotic rift next to it on the other side. I left my pet there and misdirected the group at the bottom of the bridge you need to go up, went up it and feigned. This group for me was the hard part. Make sure you get the 3 big ones misdirected, as they will be the bigger problem of the mobs there. If you can get past that group then your job is done. I left my pet at the entrance of Anomalus with isdirect incase I aggroed, but luckily I did'nt. All that was left to do now was to go over and place the item and finish the quest. I just jumped off here rather than backtrack out and went home with ashiny new pair of gloves.

All I can advise is bring pet food, as mine died a fair amount. Or, you could just get a group for it, would have been far easier :p

A quick druid/rogue guide to soloing this quest:

This might be easier with extra stealth boosts from talents...
First off, run into the main area, wait for the patrols in either side to walk away, they are most likely the thing you will die from.
--These mobs CAN see you in stealth, so don't bother with it--
After you enter Keristraeza's room, run to the north side of it, circling around the Drakanoid in this room, run straight accross, if you pull one of the patrolling mobs, you're dead. hope you get lucky, or wait till you see them pass first.

Now, you'll see a platform in front of you. Stealth past these mobs, and go to the second platform. Same deal here, hang a right and move onto the platform. Now you'll see some monsters fighting rift spawns. Hang a left, or the rift's AoE will break your stealth. As soon as you are close enough to jump off, do so. Now run accross (still in stealth) and get past the mobs guarding the next platform to the boss. This might take a bit of waiting until you get a proper opening. Run up half way to this platform. Now begin casting Wrath or using your Thrown weapon on the rift at the top of this platform until it's dead. If you don't, its AoE will break your stealth.

Get past these mobs after the rift is dead. (If you wait, the Wraiths will die) circle around the boss, hugging the edges, get all the way to the back, and use the quest item. Congrats.
-PS, don't use Feral charge on the elementals, I pulled aggro every time...-

Rogue / Druid guide worked perfectly - 1st attempt - if your a subtelty rogue you can be a little more wreckless and just use vanish if you get caught - make sure prep is up just in case - completed solo as 69 rogue.

Soloed as a lvl 80 NE Arms Warrior..... basically the same idea as the guide up there except not as much stealth (obviously because i'm a warrior) and you can kill certain things.

As a lvl 70 resto druid I was able to Prowl my way to the last platform before Anomalus, but then I aggroed mobs. My Shadowmeld didn't save me this time :S

dont run up to the edge and let blizzards usual invisible edge barrier stop you from falling...you Will fall.

Make sure you are in a party not a raid group, it will not work if you are in a raid group. Found this out the hard way :(

Did this solo as a level 84 arcane Mage. I recommend going to the
right when you enter the Nexus and then fight your way to Anomalus.
To confirm what ArgentSun wrote, you need to be on the very eastern
edge of Anomalus' platform looking into the abyss to get this to work.

I've determined the cause of the instability!

Azeroth's ley lines are being redirected to the Nexus. It's fascinating! If only I could spend the remainder of my days studying this anomaly....

Sadly, I must focus on the immediate crisis. The influx of arcane energies is tearing a rift between dimensions.

Deep inside the Nexus, the fabric of our universe is being weakened. I cannot stop it, but I've discovered a way to slow it down.

Take this into the Nexus and activate it near the forming rift.
