The trail which leads to the peak and shrine , starts at 53 08. Just follow the trail to the top.

Just a minor note to Shamans and Druids, don't click on the table thingy when shapeshifted. It'll give you an error message and be unusable for a couple seconds after, but if you unshift and wait it out, the gear cog comes back again.

When on the mountain, a yellow directional arrow will appear on your minimap to guide you to the shrine.

The road up is small road heading East off this intersection. Follow the road to the top of the mountain. You will have to fight your "Inner Turmoil" after you meditate... LOL Its ur evil twin! Will It Win? Hmm

you can actually jump mounted and out jump the entire ally city without any problems

If your a rogue just jump down off the top of the mountain in stealth and stealth through Fort Wildevrar. They dont spot u unless ur too close so watch u dont get too close but the floating part was fun :D

I faced Camp Winterhoof and jumped while mounted ; actually landed in the middle of it ; so the Alliance Campement isn't a problem.

There is a small road that goes all the way up the mountain, keep going to the top, you will pass angry cyclones. It has a purple aura.

Yeah watch where you aim, i jumped off not wanting to land in the allaince camp and ended up in the north sea with about 10 seconds of float time left haha.

I might also add that the 3 minutes slow fall buff could have multiple uses; a well aimed jump can get you close to the border of Zul'Drak , allowing you to reveal the covered areas of the map a fun way;)
You might get even further with rocket boots , but i aint an engineer myself to try it out.

I managed to jump all the way to Grizzly Hills, luckily I was only a short run from the Taunka flight path there.

To all the people who fell into the Alliance town, I think I can do one better. I didn't realize I had the Slow Fall buff and went bouncing down the path the way I had come from. Much to my surprise, I started slow falling directly east. I managed to sail over every mountain and landed in the ocean.

The path starts at 53 | 08 and is shown on the minimap, so if you are looking for it, zoom out to see it easier ;-)
On your way up to the Shrine, you will meet some Howling Cyclones. Just pass them.

Ahhh so much fun! I jumped (mounted) straight off that lil peak on the left of the shrine, and lept right over the Alliance base, nearly to a river. So epic. :D

^&*! too funny... just read the comments here before doing this on my rogue, so after cleansing my inner turmoil and gaining the slow fall buff i found myself a nearby peak, sprinted and made the leap ... completely cleared Fort Wildreaver and landed about 30 or 40 yard past the Frozen Glade! O.o

Just like the Orb of Deception, https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=39769#comments] effects this quest. Just get the buff for Meditating going, then use the Arcanite Ripper. It'll automatically summon your Inner Turmoil, who will be rocking out too. The even funnier thing is, you get to see how the "guitar" model fights...he just strums on the guitar faster or slower when hitting or being hit, lol.

funny facts about this quest.

Your inner turmoil CAN be mindcontrolled, you can use drain-soul on it but it won't yield any soul (meaning you can't drain yourself, or you as a warlock are a bastard without a soul) even if you dualwield your turmoil will not, it will not use any skills, or weapon procs, and while it does have an exact replica of your gear, it will not use any trinkets or enchants or procs or anything at all, it will allways be lvl 70 regardless of your level, and it has roughly 9k HP, it will wisper 4 phrases 2 before the fight, 1 during the fight and 1 after the fight.

once you've used the altar you will be unable to use it again for 1 minute, and once the quest is completed you will not be able to use the altar again.

the slowfall buff lasts 3 minutes, does't dispells when mounting up, and can be safely used to jump all the way to camp winterhoof or fort wildevar depending on your faction.

last but not least, it seems that Arthas failed this quest, BIG TIME.

You can die against "Your inner turmoil" but wont permanently die, still, u can cleanse thousands of inner turmoilings by redoing the quest... Epic soul strength!

I had so much fun on this quest, with my Orc Death Knight <3

I first discovered this quest, after i had killed the Lich King(10) the day before. And i could definitely get some lore/rp out of it. Now that he finished his goal, he made at Light's Hope Chapel back at lvl 58... He didn't knew where to go now. He had killed the Lich King. The very one who destroyed his life. Raising him as a monster.

Not knowing what to do now, he could have had, alot of things going on with his inner turmoil. What his true purpose with his life is. What can he do now, when his one task is finished?

So going up there, vanquish his inner turmoil. Destroying the think, that kept him down. Clear out his head, he can now decide where to go. To reclaim his new life, and find a purpose with his existence. His fate.

Note: Golbins, do not think that your racial ability Rocket Jump will make you move faster while falling...it will get rid of the slow fall buff and you will fall to your death.

When quest is finished you get "feather fall".
I jumped but landed right smack in the middle of Fort Wildervar and if you are a blood elf that is not a great thing. :)

Just so you all know and dont waste 15 min looking for the path near the camp like I did.. its not right above the camp its on the OTHER mountain to the north east of the camp above fort wildervar.. The path is not just a snow covered pathway but is visable from the minimap and looks like a beaten down path through the snow rather then fresh snow. Just kill the mirror image of your self .. get buff and jump off mountain safely..

So while the path to the peak may start at 53.7, 7.7, you totally can just start scaling the south face just north of fort wildervar... more importantly though, you can cover some serious distance with this... Questie told me a fellow named Mountaineer Kilian was offering a quest at approx 76.5, 48.6; so I aimed for him and ended up at 75.3, 26.6, i.e. just east of Drakil'jin Ruins... kinda tempted to see where else I can end up...

We braved the Rivenwood because of my troubled dreams concerning my worg life-friend, Ulfang. He has called out for help, and you must go to him.

But, you do not have the means to speak with him, or walk amongst the other worgs. I know a way.

First, you must cleanse your inner turmoil.

There is a shrine that sits at the top of Frostblade Peak, northeast of Camp Winterhoof. A single path leads up to it from the western base of the mountain.

Meditate there and then return to me.
