Can't find "underneath?" Walk out to the lowest level, and look between the two ramps.

Very few spawns for the Deathless Watchers. Can be very difficult to complete this quest in decent time in the next few days. Keep at it, and you'll get it eventually.

All the spawns for them are like gargoyle statues on buildings. Perching on the edges of the walls surrounding Gjalerbron. There should be 2 spawns on either side of the area, possibly 3.

The largest grouping of deathless watchers is the first raised area on the right hand side (as you're entering). It's the platform without a named mob (just a bunch of necros and cages). There're are 4 spawns along the ledge, and another 2 around the little building.

Deathless Watchers have a horrible spawn rate. I just skipped over this quest because there is one every 2-3 minutes.

On those ledges where they spawn. Look UP, they are ontop of a lot of buildings aswell, so very easy to find actually.. :)

Deathless Watchers have the worst respawn rate ever. Luckily, they're the ones you need the most of for this quest. GG quest design....

So you can get the mobs
- Fearsome Horror and
- Putrid Wight
underneath, also you find the Necromancers there, as well as on the platforms above
They drop "keys" in order to do the quest
"Sleeping Giants"
While doing both quests I also could do "Necro Overlord Mezhen who is standing with 3 other necromancers and drops an item that starts "The slumbering king" (inside the castle)
On the platform on the other side of Mezhen you find Wyrmcaller Vile for the quest "The Frost Wyrm and its Master"

So five quest can be done in the second time at the fortress at the same time which gives you a handful XP.

do NOT go up any ramps... the first ramps that you reach, look in between them.... there's your tunnel, your "underneath"

If you're using Carbonite, you might be misleaded to just kill the coons a little south of Gjalerbron, who also "drops" Fearsome horrors. This is just a waste of time, since the chance for getting a fearsome horror is small. Tested it myself.

For those without coords who are having trouble finding the Fearsome Horrors or the Dormant Vrykuls:

The entrance is at the bottom of the hill, almost where the snow starts. Look for a giant, peaked stone doorframe between two of the wooden dragon heads. The stone ramp parts around the doorframe, and there's a grate nearby that's sending up a tall column of greenish gases.

Is anyone else having this problem. I click on one of the deathless watchers, and he flies over to me only to suddenly become about seven of them and kill me within seconds. This only is happening to me on the left side by the Wyrm quest. The watchers on the right seemed fine. Just wondered if this is normal. I didn't want to sit and wait for the right side to repop, but the left side has now killed me like this three times.

the deathless watchers and the putrid wrights are on both the "balcony/platform" type things to the side.

When looking towards the mountain the rightside is 38,11, leftside is 36,8. Combine this quest with "the frost wyrm and its master".

The fearsome horrors are inside the mountain, the entrance is at 34,13.

The spirits of the land and air, the waters and the fire below the world, would not abide their presence, but seem to do nothing about them. We will see to it that they are dealt with!

Perhaps it is asking too much, but I would have you return west to Gjalerbron and destroy the unnatural Scourge in that vile lair. Be sure to check in the Waking Halls below Gjalerbron as well!
