If Lyana isn't there when you arrive, she's off stomping enemy butt with her troops and will return shortly.

After dismounting and talking to both characters I did not get credit after talking to either. I ended up casting my Mana Shield spell, then received credit for Razael. For Lyana, I initiated combat with a North Fleet enemy character near her. She joined in, and when I next talked to her I got credit for listening to her.

For me, I talked to both and even though it said I didn't complete it I was able to turn in the quest. Using the questhelper addon will show you where they are located.

I managed to get this to work by turning off shadowform as my priest.

If you have trouble turning in a quest to Razael, try making sure you're not on a mount.

Lyana and Razael's Reports (spoiler alert!)

Deathstalker Razael's Report:

The ground... is frozen. We're sitting ducks here; these meatwagons aren't going anywhere.

High Executor Anselm wants a report on the situation.

What does it look like? The ground is frozen like a rock!

The wheels on these meatwagons were built to go over mud at best. We're going to need an abomination and some chains to salvage them.

Dark Ranger Lyana's Report:

The stranded Alliance sailors know they're going to die, yet they fight us tooth and nail.

Impressive and pathetic at the same time.

High Executor Anselm requests your report.

It is those two cannons along the wall that are slowing us down. Without their protection our forces would be able to rush their fortification without taking any losses.

It's either take out those cannons or wait until they run out of ammunition. Anselm's choice, I suppose.

Descrizione

Our mission in Northrend is to destroy Arthas. The Alliance are but an obstacle that we'll crush wherever we find them.

We've managed to destroy their easternmost fleet; but the survivors have barricaded themselves on the Derelict Strand, south of here.

Our forces should've overwhelmed their make-shift defenses long ago, but we underestimated their will to live. Seek my officers in the field, Dark Ranger Lyana and Deathstalker Razael and get them to report on the situation.
