This is a fairly simple collection quest. The items are green containers located on the shoreline and the first boat (just south of Vengeance Landing). There are Sailors on-board but its still fairly simple.

The sailors that want to kill you respwan really-REALLY fast! So if you kill a couple and get 1-2 barrels, be prepared for another battlesoon.

I just stood on the prow of one ship, and 1-3 barrels kept reappearing, along with 3-5 sailors. My level 70 Shadow priest who isn't that well geared was still able to take on a triple attack easily.

Find a spot where you see some barrels, and just stay there. It's a good tactic when the place is crawling with players who are ninja-ing from each other. They run off and you get the next barrel anyhow.

I could get this quest at 68. wowhead is currently wrong saying level 70 required.

The easiest way to get the containers is to take the stairs that lead to the bottom of the ship (location )

There is a fish Daggercap Hammerhead which you need to kill. There are many containers in that area; you have to dive in the water though, so watch your breath.

These respawn instantly in some cases, me and my girlfriend died doing this quest because no matter how many we killed, another spawned as soon as they died, eventualy as mage and warrior. we died. killed about 12 of these from 2 spawnpoints. instant spawns.

Apothecary Lysander at Vengeance Landing wants you to recover 10 Intact Plague Containers from the wrecked ship to the southeast.

Not long after Arthas condemned us to this wretched existence, we in the Royal Apothecary Society endeavored to create a plague of our own. A plague that would devour all flesh: living, dead or undead.

We've succeeded in creating this plague and we're here to hand deliver it to the Scourge's doorstep.

The Alliance intercepted the ship carrying the latest strain engineered in our Undercity laboratories. Head to the wreckage southeast of here and salvage whatever containers you can.
