Yeah this quest appears to be very buggy. First I accepted it after waking him and he just stood there (when according to the quest test he was supposed to be gathering relics). After a minute or two I abandoned the quest at which point he lied down and went back to sleep. Re-accepting the quest from him doesn't do anything -- he still lies there motionless.

this quest is super easy as a resto druid. just stand back and let him tank and damage EVERYTHING. once theyre on him they wont get off him so just throw him rejuv's and lifeblooms and MAYBE a swiftmend once in awhile and you'll be fine. it's not difficult at all.

I have to say that I hope when the actual Emerald Dream is implemented it looks as cool as the Stormrage Barrow Dens. It's nice to see those ED models that have been sitting around in the game's files since release get some use. It's like a preview for upcoming content, shame that only Druids are guided to it.

Well this quest bugged for me. We got to the last relic and at the end of the fight, Clintar was gone. :((

Apparently, if you accept this quest from Dreamwalker in a combat form, it will be bugged and he will not appear in spirit form. When you accept the quest, be sure to be in Nelf form.

If he doesn't appear in spirit form, wait for the debuff "Embrace of the Emerald Dream" to expire, abandon the quest and try again in Nelf form. Good luck!

First off, you will need to purchase your epic riding skills from.
Horde. Olrokk.
Alliance.Ilsa Blusterbrew.

Now you need to travel up to moonglade and speak with the druid trainer there.
Loganaar
He will give you a quest to head down to Zangarmarsh.

Once you speak to Morthis Whisperwing you will be given a quest from him.
After completion and turn in, you are send back to Moonglade.

From there you must complete No Mere Dream.

TIP: If you have more then 1 druid in a group doing this quest, multiple spawns of this guy happen. Dont worry if one of them dies, so long as 1 lives untill the end you are ok.

Once that is complete he sends you back to Morthis Whisperwing, Morthis will give you a quest to head to Blades Edge Mountains (BEM)

From Watcher Elaira you will pick up 3 more quests, which are all relatively simple to solo.
The book of the Raven. Eyes in the sky To Catch a Sparrowhawk .

Now she will give you a quest to head to skitties, The Raven Stones.

Once this is turned in you will speak with Arthorn Windsong, who will have 5 quests for you to complete

The Eagle's Essence.
The Falcon's Essence
The Hawk's Essence.
Return to Cenarion Refuge
Chasing the Moonstone

Once those are completed you will get Vanquish the Raven God.
Tip: Bring a back up healer for this fight.

I accepted the quest and protected him but when the big bird came i pulled 2 more but than he died BUT i dont know what to do now i abandond the quest so i though i could accept it again but i CANt what have i need to do>? Help plz

Tried this string today...it's still buggy for me as well.

Got up to No Mere Dream, in Tauren form, accepting the quest before the debuff, running through the whole sequence, and then once the debuff ran out, still wasn't able to turn the quest in.

I guess I'll hope they fix this in the next patch.

I have been unable to reacquire the quest. Does it make a difference that I only have my flying form (fast form)? I am trying to grind reputation to get my Hippogryph mount. Do I have to go all the way back and regather the herbs for this? I never saw the ghost form and he went to sleep. I can abandon that and reacquire "No Mere Dream" but can never see his form.

Seems that this particular encounter doesn't really have much in the way of being able to let you hold aggro.

Even after attacking and sufficiently damaging a mob, whenever Clintar got remotely close to them (without even attacking, mind you), he ended up snagging aggro pretty quick.

this quest is bugged for me, i follow him and he gets the relics but when he gets to the guy that u turn the quest in he just gives the relics to him and then dissapears and i get no completion whatsoever...

If he dies, just abandon the quest and go back to his sleeping body. No need to reawaken him with those herbs.

Look for his spirit. He is the one you escort. Not Clintar himself. But I had to drop the quest as I either did not see the spirit or it never popped. The first time, Clintar "woke up", went to a little niche, gave me the quest, and stayed there. I got the timer and that was it. After that, when I reacquire the quest, he never moved, but his spirit did appear and need escorting

ok i wake the guy a big flash, no npc to walk? what am i missing, i see a couple guys with the same name but dont seam to be part of the quest sence they don't move and cant be healed

10 minutes escort. Kill some 70 non elite, easy if done in cat form (resto druid here).
Next quest is Return to Morthis Whisperwing

For those having trouble with the spirit not spawning - drop your shapeshift. It appears (from some limited testing) that the escort mob spawns correctly when you are in regular form, but does not do so when you are in a shapeshifted/combat form such as cat or moonkin.

To complete this quest you have to follow and protect Clintar Dreamwalker's Spirit.
This is a long quest, you will spend around 7 minutes to complete all the trip.

There is a bug that sometimes the escort npc wont appear if you try to start the quest in cat or bear form, abandon the quest and walk out of the cave. Then walk back in as "human" form and accept it again, it should work.

Total time of the escort is 7 minutes assuming you can kill every mob in about 5-8 seconds and the miniboss in 30 seconds, I did a timer while doing it today. (This was as resto in kitty form)

There is a Raven in the Barrow Den.

After this quest, you return to Zangar and talk to the guy by the Moonwell, Morthis Whisperwing, to turn it in. I clicked the turn in, but, well I wasn't paying attention and he told me BEFORE I took the next quest which is called "To the Evergrove," he goes, "Oh, are you certain you saw a raven in the barrow den?" and some other words in the questline story exposition. I'm really trying to read the text and get into the message behind the epic flight form quest and I was speedreading text before clicking and I thought, "Whoa, what? A raven? I don't remember a raven!" All the spirits in that barrow den were either a kind of a green owls, or like lashers from Un'Goro, and I forgot what raven he was talking about... I can only recall the many many stupid mobs that I must have killed 20 of... until...

Suddenly, I remembered that Clintar Dreamwalker has you defend against 3 Relics defended by attackers. For the first and second waves, the entirety of all attackers are the owls and lashers, but I finally remember that defending the 3rd relic is a "boss" (if you can even call it that, because it's nonelite). Anyway, it yells at you and then you kill it and then Clintar starts pumping and you pop a moonfire or two and the raven is dead.

So I can barely remember what I did but I was looking at the Barrow Den and its map, which had a different map than most of the generic Barrow Dens in World of Warcraft--it's way more compact and way more colorful. It only has the spiral ramp down, then it has 2 bridges and then another corkscrew off to the left, and then it kind of . . . ends. No more branches off the main corkscrew. Also, you can't really see well, there seem to be a lot of tree roots and maybe even plants so you can't really see into the little rooms across the bridges and at the end of the corkscrew. They were like green and blue and leafy.

After you click to waken Clintar, he asks you hostilely, why did you wake him? But you somehow know he means well, it's just that he's groggy from waking up from the dream. He actually kind of says he's glad to get out of there because it's turning into a nightmare. Something is trying to come into the beauty of the pristine Emerald Dream and destroy it. That's when he breaks the sad news that he actually isn't able to help your sorry ass learn this ancient technique of fast flight, because he can't get the relics himself. But he comes up with a way to split into two parts, one is just a fragile spirit that has the minimum ability to walk to each of the three fragments where the relics are stored so you can have them for yourself... meanwhile, most of the rest of his being has to stay in the Emerald Dream. Maybe we're talking about 5 or 10% of his total composition can even help you and the rest, 90% or 95%, well, it has to stay locked into the Emerald Dream because some nasty ass ^&*! is going on. You have to agree, right? I mean, you want the fast flying, so what else can you do?

So, you protect Clintar's spirit so his body can fight whatever it is attacking the Emerald Dream. With only has just his spirit to have you give him the relics which you need to learn the ancient nearly forgotten swift flight form from the ancient druids, you have to really work hard for the druid to be able to turn the relics to you so you too can be a fast flyer like him... As mentioned before, only he has what it takes to unlock whatever contains the relics. I forgot what verbiage he uses, but basically, he's saying since he locked the relics into their hiding spots, only he (or his spirit) can retrieve them. He can't just give you a key or anything or you can't kill something else who has the key and steal it.

The "relics" themselves are basically like three big stereo speakers on a pedestal that he walks to. I was paying attention but not fully to everything in that Barrow Den, enough to kind of get the roleplaying experience that I might be learning some millienial old spell and become cool ass like an ancient priest from some forgotten religion.

Anyway, when I was trying to get into this story, I forgot all about the Raven. What raven is Morthis Whisperspring talking about? Then I suddenly remembered, that when you protect Clintar as he approaches the third Relic, you engage a Raven boss. Ten minutes later when I'm turning in the quest and I am basically slapped across the face that a RAVEN OMG is trying to mess up the Emerald Dream, I'm like, what Raven? I read the rest of the text and the story of the quest and I'm thinking, so who's this supposed Raven that's all the sudden the bad guy that's messing up poor Clintar's nice deep dream. Then I remembered, oh that is the 3rd fight down in the barrow and I totally forgot that the Raven speaks to Clintar. He warns Clintar he will never win and to give up or the Raven will kill him. Though a few minutes has passed, I scroll up in my chat log and I see some ominous red letters, which read as follows:

Aspect of the Raven yells: Foolish druid! Dividing your essence has weakened you, opening the door for my master to dominate the Emerald Dream! Your spirit and your body will die here!

Back to reality. Damn, the Ravens are going to mess up the Emerald Dream! What could I possibly do to save the Emerald Dream, I just want to learn epic flight form. Like every other druid in TBC. Is it possible that I could just learn flight form? Hell no! Now I have to inspect what Raven is messing it up for Clintar or else frigging Morthis Whisperwind won't do jack $%^& for me to get my swift flight. Sheesh! OK back to the old grind... I guess I'll have to head over to friggin Blade's Edge Mountains because they seem to have a lot of love for Ravens and I'll probably end up messing their $%^& up too, but whatever, man. Morthis is my teacher, he can't put me in danger right? So I better go get a look at these Raven people and see if we can kick their asses because what's the point of me learning epic flight if some Raven !@#$%^&s are going to mess up the future of druids like me.
