This guy runs. And runs. And runs.... and runs.... ><

I chased him about from the Gold Coast Quarry to just north of the Pumpkin Farm, always just out of reach from my Priest's SW:P. He only stopped when he ran into a level 13 player and proceeded to eat her face off. I killed him afterwards, though, ressed the player and gave her the cloak it dropped as it was an upgrade for her (Shaman) but useless for me.

This rare spawn drops 2 great just starting rogue things like the dagger https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=2235 +1 str +1 agi which is great for rogue and the cloak https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=6179 is great to so just hope you will run into him (or he will run into you with all of that running :P) and get 1 of those good items! or check your local AH

I bumped into this guy twice in one hour when working on "The Coast Isn't Clear" and "Captain Sander's Hidden Treasure" quests.

His lower spawn timer range must be really low.

Interesting, he's got a really slow and hard attack compared to most mobs.

Never had any trouble tagging him, just threw a Thick Bronze Dart when he ran by.

If you see this guy running by but can't land a blow on him, trust me, don't go chasing after him. Murlocs run just a bit faster than players, and I spent an agonizing ten minutes trying to keep up with him. He runs through all the Murloc camps, so you'll have to either swim in the ocean or run along the elevated ground next to the beach to even hope of keeping up with him, much less catching him. I was crushed to discover that he despawns once he reaches the lvl13 Murloc area. Don't waste your time. Chasing this guy just isn't worth whatever a lvl 19 rare could drop.

as i was doing the second people's militia quest and as i was heading back my lvl15 hunter came across him took off about 75% of his health before being killed

If you spot him, wait to attack until he's between the Murloc camps so you can fight him alone. Like all Murlocs, he runs for help when he's at low health, and you don't want him to reach a fellow Murloc.

Saw his and though beauty! so after killing him, cooking him and picking the brack meat from my teeth i looked at his dropped item and it wasn't to shabby, brackclaw sufficed.

According to the official World of Warcraft Atlas, this mob is rated as Uncommon rarity with a respawn timer of ~2-3 hours.

The guy seems to run very fast from Longshore (Westfall Southwest) to North of Jansen's farm, then just walks right back to his original "running" point. Chased him for about 8 minutes, never got to him until he slowed down and got back. Not seeming quite dangerous.

I believe i killed this guy at 16 on my mage.

The only hard part about this guy is he goes 75 mph.

Slark and Brack are NOT on a shared timer. I just chased them both from the lighthouse all the way to the northern beach. Fast little buggers.

I found slark and killed him for basic loot. A minute later brack came running down and dropped extra loot. I guess i got lucky

anyone knows the time for this murlock to spawn?
met him today by accident, he spawned next to me at the beach near the lighthouse & started running off like a madman, i could barely keep up with aspect of the cheetah on
he was nice enough to drop me that sweet dagger thou

He spawned right in front of me today on the beach right next to the light house. It was about 4:30 PM for me. He dropped the Brackclaw dagger.

Slark and Brack have the same respawn time which is roughly between 3-4hr, Brack walks but Slark runs its best to ambush him by the crawlers where he cant get reinforcements

Both Brack and Slark walk along the entire length of Longshore in Westfall. Slark spawns every 1.5-2.5 hours at the very top of Longshore in the north. Brack spawns every 2-3 hours at the very bottom of Longshore, near the lighthouse.

lvl20 Hunter with Takk the Leaper pet.

was reading up on these 2. l never heard of Brack but l have killed Slark a few times with my mage a few times. I wanted his mail armour for my warrior l created and decided to go hunt him down.

Went to the light house area and saw old Muck Eye a bit north of the lighthouse and decided to kill him. Once l did, l saw a murloc come running from to me from the light house side (thats south side of map). Was running faster than other murlocs and clicked on him to see who it was. As soon as l saw the dragon around his name l shot him so he would attack me. once he did, me and pet made short work of him.

Then decided to go to the light house area proper. Saw a chest and decide to loot it. Got attacked by 3 murlocs, was finish of the last one when l saw another fast running murloc comming to me again. Checked to see who that was and yup it was Slark.

So attacked him and killed him. got a sword and back time from both of them.

Server time was 6am-6:30am Frostmourne Server.

Will see if they spawn around the same time tomarrow.

He patrols the longshore, sometimes you can find him at the top. He droped me the dagger the last time I killed him

ok, i come online and all of a sudden this rare spawn murloc just walks right past me. He was uber easy to kill, considering i was a lvl 32 rogue (dont ask me why i was in Westfall) but he drops Privateer's Cloak or w/e its called, so im kinda happy, i can give this to one of my other chars, so im glad i came on right then! kinda freaked me out at first though...

Chased the guy from the lighthouse all the way to the very end of the beach to have a 21 paladin standing there and kills him.

these guys have very good speed about 35% i guess but the thing is me and my friend at lvl 36 in westfall just messing around and stuff see him and brack brack was easy but slark runs like a madman in a carchase so my friend uses sprint and almost couldn't keep up chasing him for like an hour
so slark has more speed than brack for some reason

Ran into Brack on the northern part of the coast the other day as a 16 rogue. As soon as I killed him (and he dropped a pretty nice cloak), Slark comes running up, at four levels or so lower than his big brother. Two rares within five seconds or so of each other XD

Found him while doing The Coast Isn't Clear, lvl 22 Rogue. He doesn't run, Slark does. Anyway I killed him and got the dagger

I encountered Slark too soon after but he ran too fast and I didn't feel like chasing him

Found Brack walking along the beach at the northernmost part of Longshore. He didn't hit too hard, and I took him on as a level 13 hunter. Dropped a cool dagger.

Brack indeed spawns rarely.
It seems I got lucky but then for hours on end, no success.

Here is what happened.

I went to westfall, went to the beach enjoying the nice breeze coming in from the ocean.
Only minutes after my arrival (and quickly killing the alliance boatsman on the dock), I noticed some disturbed little fellow running right past me.

With cat-like reflexes I dazed him and let my Revenger have his fun with him.
At closer inspection of the body I realized I didn't just kill Brack but Slark instead.
So I picked up his Slarkskin and Coral Claymore as he most certainly didn't need it no more.

After being on the beach for 4 minutes and preparing for a long search after Brack I noticed some greyish looking ugly foe about 5 feet away, walking calmly along the beach.
There was Brack right in front of me.
As I got close some puny lvl15 Alliance Rogue took a shot at him. Damn, this is not happening I thought, so,... I killed the Rogue, buried his dead corpse and prayed for his lost soul.
I let Brack heal up to give him some notion of safety before I unleashed my poisonous fury and let my pet devour him.
Calling of my pet and sifting through his remains, I noticed he carried a Brackclaw and wore a Privateer's Cape, which I gladly released him off.
I gave the rest of his remains to my pet and sat by the beach enjoying the calm fresh breeze of the ocean once again.

Another job well done. Well after that I wasn't able to find him or Slark for 3 hours, so I called myself lucky and went back to horde territory and send the cape and dagger to my lvl15 Rogue who was eagerly awaiting the good news in the crossroads.

this bastard ran up on me while i was fighting a tidehunter meanwhile I'm a priest and only level 15. of course i had already used DP. so he killed me and he got away.. sad story

I was getting eyes on my 14 warlock, and all the sudden i see a black one lvl 19, so im like, what the hell? SO i attacked, killed my VW, but got him =), but main purpose of story is, 14 vs a 19? warlocks Over Powered =P

brack ive seen twice on my 19 rogue killed him earlier today while lvling some buddies and he dropped the Brackclaw but people dont see they both run but brack walks once hes with his other murlocs then begins to run once hes in the crabs again.

saw him up the top of westfall by one of the many ships

well just did both brack and slark again got the dagger for a friend AGAIN and the coral claymore which auction at about 2g

Best place to get him is the very top (north end) of the beach. Kill all the low level murlocs there first, so when he (or slark) DO show up you dont get gang-raped by 435847843 of murlocs.

I've killed them both quite a few times. Have two privateer capes and a coral claymore. :-) All i need is the brackclaw and i'll make myself quite a few gold at the auction house haha.

so here i am, minding my own business, killing Sand Crawlers on the beach, and this fewl runns up and attacks me. heh heh, killed him pretty easily (was playing a lvl 17 NE Warrior), and he dropped the dagger.

so i'm standing there on the beach, admiring my new dagger, and this other fewl runs up and attacks me! heh, killed him too (Slark), and he dropped the armor.

nice. both will sell pretty good on AH!

I found Brack one day while looking for Slark. I'd found Slark and made for him, then two stupid random Murlocs got in my face so I killed them. Slark had run off to Elune only knows where, and I ran into Brack while looking for Slark.

I got that cape :)

Killed Brack and his good mate Slark tonight :P Brack dropped the Dagger which iv put at the AH for 75s i think.. bet it doesnt sell lolz Brack is tougher than Slark by 4 levels, also has a few abilities including hamstring. Ah Westfall... good memories :D

This dude is a pain to kill because when you try to kill him he keeps running up and down the coast and when you chase him other murlocs jump you.

when i was doing the quests for the ghost captain at the light house, i eventually came across brack, but he went too far ahead of me for my fireballs to catch up (on my mage char). though eventually i stopped slark in his tracks and got the Coral Claymore.

You can find both of them if you simply start at the extreme north or south of the beach, then walk the opposite direction until you reach the end of the beach. I did that and Brack spawned twice and Slark once.

If you're a low level trying to grab Murloc Eyes for the Westfall Stew quest, Brack sucks. I kept running into him and almost dying at 12 because he's 19.
He seems to spawn much faster than Slark does. I usually see him at the north end of the beach, where the easiest Murlocs hang out.

IFM try the higher part of Longshore it has 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 murlocs hanging out there.

I ran past Old Murk Eye and then see another purple murloc and I'm going "what in the world?"

So I saw his name was Brack, and killed him. Got a Small Barnacled Clam, Privateer's Cloak, Ice Cold Milk, and Clam Meat.

Found him at 30,79

Found this little man on my Paladin.I was fighting some Murlocs, and suddenly he was in front of me..He dropped that dagger trice in a row.

This guy isnt elite, he is just a rare spawn. I believe he has 8 hour spawntime. He yells for rogues to kill him (not actually but the loot does ;)

Roguelewt indeed.. Wouldnt mind a hunter having these either.. He runs around the coast along with another rare mob...! GL hunting, he is an easy kill.

Got Brackclaw, a nice dagger for lvl 14, also there is another rare spawn that is not listed here called Slark, lvl 14, killed him a few min after Brack, got Slarkskin, a lvl 10 chest armour.
