Hi!

I'll try to keep things brief.

My guild has been struggling on 10 man Cho'gall for awhile. 50+ attempts.

We've gotten to phase 2 many many times.

The Debilitating Beam ability has confused us.

Mostly because no guide has explained how it works.

Wowhead says it has a 50k yd range, but nothing strategy oriented.

We haven't found an explanation as to how to deal with this, but it's really quite simple.

Whoever isn't tanking Cho'gall, should be tanking the Darkened Creations.

The Darkened Creations are threat oriented.

There are 4 Darkened Creations.

All dps can go on 1 and can interrupt his Debilitating Beam.

The other 3 can be "picked up".

The debuff says "damage done and healing done". None of which really affect a tank.

Since even if the dps pull threat on a Darkened Creation, they can interrupt the beam anyway.

The offtank should pull threat on the Creations to prevent the debuff from slowing down your ability to kill Creations and Cho'gall.
