Will probably be a boss in one of the Argent Tournament instances, either the 5-man or the 10/25 man raid. Judging by his current health (3486k), probably a raid boss... unless we get to joust him down :-)

The raid is going to be assaulted by Snobold Vassal. They come from the boss. Various raid members are going to be attacked by them. Seems like they jump onto players individually and prevent them from using abilities or spells. The only way for them to be removed is for your raid members to target them and kill them.
These guys stun the person they're on for 5 seconds if caught casting.

Watch out for patches of fire on the ground. As a priest with Fire Resist Aura I was getting hit for ~4.5k a tick.

You will need two tanks to handle this. The cooldown on impale is every 10 seconds. Your tanks have to switch and taunt every 30 seconds before the stacking debuff overwhelms them.
Our tanks switched between 1-2 impales.

There are 3 phases to this fight, Gormok is Phase 1.

this boss seems to have a stacking self-buff called "Rising Anger" that increases his damage by 15% per stack, i don't know what causes this buff, but it is not dispellable by disarming/tranq shot

Gormok himself is a hard encounter.
Once the fight begins, Gormok will begin like a normal boss. After a few secconds have passed, Gormok will launch 1-2 Kabolds, and after they are launched, he will launch up to 4 at a time. When 1 is brought down, he will throw another 1. These jump on the backs of the players, and since the players can't actually hit BEHIND them, they're unable to attack them.
It's possible at this point, for 2 melee players to attack eachother's Kabold.
After the boss throws the Kabolds, they will drop a fire on the ground RANDOMLY, that bursts out to a large fire that goes out after some small time.
Also, i have to note that he hits the TANKS (The one that is tanking him) with a debuff, similar to Gluth's debuff, (Gluth's) Mortal Wound, which is prety deadly. Tanks must change when stacks are at 2-4. If they go above 5, it's way too deadly for the tanks. This debuff lasts 30 secconds.
(Spells were not added yet in Wowhead when this guide was written.)

Gormok the Impaler is the first of three Northrend Beasts you will face immediately upon entering Trial of the Crusader. His encounter requires two tanks that should periodically taunt the boss off of each other in order to avoid the overstacking of Impale.

Abilities

Staggering Stomp: Deals a staggering stomp that inflicts 9263 to 9737 Physical damage to all enemies within 15 yards and interrupts spellcasting for 8 seconds. Interrupt can affect players further than 15 yards away.

Impale: Inflicts 150% of weapon damage to an enemy and causes it to bleed for 3500 to 4500 damage per application every 2 sec. for 30 sec. Tanks should switch aggro around two to three stacks and wait for it to wear off.

Summon Snobold Vassal: Creates two to three Snobolds that will randomly attack players for low melee damage and periodically interrupt their target. Ranged dps should focus on them when they appear.

Fire Patch (no link available): Gormok will create a fire patch around a randomly targeted player. Radius is estimated to be 10 yards. Everyone should move out of these to avoid damage.
