This was a disgrace imo.
Uther is only a lvl 80 WTF? yet Tirion is a Boss Elite!

He didn't even have unique voice over at all.

Dam Blizzard could have at least hooked him up with a Cool looking Weapon and Armor Set.

I am very disappointed with this.
First Blizzard hypes up the Silver Hand faction (Which was a Lie)

and now Uther looks lame. Check his Hp for crying out loud!

Uther in WC3 was Powerful enough to stand his ground 1v1 vs Arthas, yet even (LOL Illidan) couldnt even do that.

warrior : grand marshal's plate and grand marshal's pummeler or maul or something shoulders dunno.. but boots and so should be easy to find, search for the look-a-like items for grand marshal's plate to find the other, which includes boots.
also he wears crazy cenarion cloak

What's up with his last name? I can't find any sources mentioning it. ('the Lightbringer' is just a title).

Even in the book, Alonsus Faol introduces him as simply 'Uther' (before he got his title).

I'm rather disappointed with the look of the Uther model here; how such a good, important character can be turned into someone so run-of-the-mill, while Arthas gets a unique model. Just to be picky, since I like the WC3 look better...

The hair is missing its main tinge of orange.

The hammer is the lame GM 2HHammer compared to the better hammer from WC3... Goblin Nutcracker and others have a better hammer style in their icons, but the model is not used. A Servomechanic Sledgehammer would be a better weapon to see him with.

Personally, I don't think the Lt. Commander gear suits him as well as the same pieces of the Valor set do.
They used some solid cape instead of, say, a Celestial Cape, which separates down the back.
Would it be so hard to give him a Grand Marshal's Tome of Restoration or something? He's a pally, he needs some kind of libram.
That shoulder model with the blue skin, as far as I know, doesn't exist for equippable items, but Imbued Plate Pauldrons are pretty close. Technically, he doesn't have blue pauldrons in WC3, but it's the cape going over normal metal ones. Easier than making a whole new model, I guess.

I want Uther back! In W3 at the Undead he and only 1 Footman killed 20 Ghouls,Arthas 3 times and 5 Meat Wagons. So I am a little sad cuz' he is dead. :((((((((((

Uther is universally known as the Lightbringer but he hasn't been always addressed as such. In fact it was General Turalyon who got the idea of this nickname after seeing the inspiration that the Grand Master of the Silver Hand had on his men. When he was charged by Khadgar and Uther as Supreme Commander of the Alliance he responded:
“And I thank you, Uther the Lightbringer,” Turalyon replied, and he saw the older Paladin’s eyes widen at the new title. “For so shall you be known henceforth, in honor of the Holy Light you brought us this day.” Uther bowed, clearly pleased, then turned without another word and walked back toward the other knights of the Silver Hand, no doubt to tell them their marching orders.

While it's awesome that Blizz remade The Culling of Stratholme and included Uther, I like many others, was sorely disappointed that he did not have a unique model, nor did the armour they splash on him represented his W3 sprite.

Whilst the GM set with the blue shoulders may be fine for any Knight of the Silver Hand, to me, it did not cut it for Uther.

This, imo, would have been more suitable for him (the belt does not show up properly on the 3d viewer but its meant to be https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=46071):

Originally, in Warcraft 2, his full name was in fact "Uther Lightbringer." Later on in Warcraft 3 this was changed to the title that is more commonly used today ("Uther the Lightbringer").

Uther has now joined Khadgar and Turalyon (among others) in the "Blizzard hasn't given us a surname yet" club.

(Interestingly, both Lothar and Aegwynn each used to be in this club at one time, and both of their names actually turned out to be their surnames... so who knows how these things will all turn out.)

I definitely think Uther should have his own unique model, look at arthas, he has the cape going over one of his shoulders, thats impossible to create on a character. and he has the book chained to hi plate armor. Uther has all this knight-captain crap and regular grey hair. Compared to the fading orange in Warcraft III, also https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=10374 doesn't work with him neither do the ones he has on originally. He should have the normal iron ones with the cape draped over them and not look like a normal NPC. I hope blizzard see this.
